Ginger_Warrior Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 I woke up last Sunday massively overslept with about two litres of vomit on my pillow and running underneath the duvet, and a full pizza on my desk chair, with no recollection of anything between getting into the nightclub and waking up in the morning. Tansuo Posted February 9, 2013 Author Share Posted February 9, 2013 Few months back, I was awoken at 5am by a friends mother who had turned up at the house trying to find her son, who had stupidly not told her that he was staying at another friends house. Upon awakening, I instantly felt my stomach rumble. I clumsily stood up and forced my way past her and down the stairs, clutching my mouth shut. Just as I reached the bathroom door, vomit erupted from my bowels in a manner than can only be compared to Vesuvius. It splattered all up the bathroom door and as I continued to stumble the last 3 meters to the toilet, it kept on going. A minute or so later, having emptied myself fully I turned around to see the damage. The bathroom was about two meters wide, with 3 meters from the door to the toilet. I had managed to cover the whole floor and around 30 cm up each wall, in a consistent blanket cover with vomit. As you can imagine, I didn't feel so great the morning after. Ginger_Warrior Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 When me and my friends first started drinking, and it was all pretty new to us, we went to a house party for some girl's birthday who I'd never even met before. The house was incredible, three bathrooms, more rooms than they knew what to do with, two lounges. We started drinking, I had a glass of vodka with coke mixer. I noticed the beverage was black but with a hint of dark blue... I put this down to the poor quality of the cola and a relatively large volume of diluted vodka, and drank anyway. After half the glass I was very drunk (although, being new to the experience, I didn't really recognise this because I didn't know what "drunk" felt like). I also started to feel slightly queasy, which, like the drink, I put down to reasons other than alcohol. In this case, it was nerves from being so introverted in a room full of people I'd never seen. I went to the toilet, next thing I know, that slight uneasiness in my stomach turns into a full blown tide of vomit which I just about managed to aim into the sink. I managed to clean it up before anyone noticed, and went back to my friends. I asked my friend if I could see the vodka bottle. What she thought was diluted vodka actually turned out to be full strength vodka, and I'd just drank about half a cup full with fizzy cola. I spent the next hour vomiting in the kitchen sink in a house full of about 75 strangers, and not really knowing how to make myself better, until my friends eventually decided it was better to get a lift home from one of their relatives. Apparently, the girl's mother was spitting venom about me after I left and with hindsight I really can't blame her. First time I started drinking was about 2-3 years after everyone else had started, seeing as I come from an islamic family and parents are all against the drugs/alcohol thing. You know how it is for first time drinkers. Except for me, I was the only 'noob' and everyone else already knew their limits and could drink responsibly. I was at a friends girlfriends birthday party, we have a policy here that if you're drinking you bring your own stuff. This was the first party I'd been to where I had to buy my own alcohol. So I go and buy a bottle of Vodka. I don't know how to drink vodka. I show up and there is a whole bunch of people I don't know. It's really [bleep]ing awkward. I start drinking the vodka, unmixed straight from the bottle. I don't know how to drink vodka. It tasted like shit, but I am so lightweight the taste was gone really quick. You should stop drinking vodka if you cannot taste it. I keep drinking because everyone is giving me attention, and was having a great time. Last thing I remember, 9pm, and I'm sitting on a chair, next to a woman who was dressed up as a black man (I don't [bleep]ing know why), she looks at me, asks if I'm okay, in which I reply "Yeah sure, just look at me chug this bottle". That's all I remember until midnight, where I'm on the side of the street puking next to a friend of mine (who happens to be black). Then I remember being in a car and puking out the side of the window. I wake up the next morning in a house that wasn't the house from last night, walk into a living room full of people that I do not recognize, was so surreal and confused and cliche. The first was shortly after high school when a friend and I went shot for shot with a bottle of Bushmills. All I remember is waking up the next morning on the kitchen floor a puddle of my own vomit. The second was when I went to see Great Big Sea in a small club downtown. They serve this awesome hard cider that I was downing way too fast with predictable results. I remember about half the show, trying to crawl out of a restaurant afterwards and my friend trying to get me to stand up because they wouldn't let us leave if I couldn't stand up and walk out under my own power, and finally puking and ruining the upholstery of the cab that drove us home. I also remember the epic hangover I had afterwards. Ever since then, I've been much more careful about what and how much I drink. Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero.
