country devil
I've started killing glacors for Mage exp/charms/fun and have decided that I'm gonna stay on them until I get enough shards for my own abs as a challenge for myself.. but I have a few questions as to maximize my kill rate of them: I'm currently using sol, gano helm/top/legs, infinity boots, asn, cul 10 gloves bloodfire blitz(90 Mage)soulsplitand spamming abilities as they come up I'm killing the sapping then enduring then the last one(don't remember name) and I'm luring the enduring as far from the glacor as possible. is bloodfire blitz worth the extra cost per auto attack or is fire wave a better alternative and I'm using spells/ abilities for the glacytes I'm not using a familiar because I'm only 72 summon is there anything to help maximize my kills/hr? Vezon Dash
You could use elite void armor for the extra damage boost. Soulsplit + Fire Surge keeps me alive in void using the same tactics that you use.
country devil
I hadn't thought of that.. would the dps lost by using fire wave instead of surge be too much to rely on soulsplit? and I will probably use gano for a little while longer because I'm still getting used to dodging the icicle spec and the glacor exploding.. but that'll only take a little more time to get used to I guess
jayc3399
Your better of learning to time your abilities so that as an auto attack fires you click and ability. This goes for both range and Mage because they just don't have enough abilities to keep spamming them. If you do this you basically get a free ability with every auto attack. It uses more runes but does more dps overall. Specially if you use a wand. Quyneax
95 prayer for Torment would help a bit, potting for fire surge is definitely worth it (overload if you can), Ganodermic is probably not worth it because of the degrade cost so upgrade to Subjugation once you can. Fire Wave doesn't seem to be much weaker than fire surge judging by ability critical hits, so you could surivive with that too (wand for sure, staff I don't know), autoattacks are weaker though I think. Auror
I do Glacors with Ahrims, and I never struggle tbh. Don't use Ganos, the degrade cost is way too high.
