December 6, 201213 yr A friend of Mine is unable to load RS all of a sudden. He has already redownloaded and reinstalled Java, and safe mode deosnt work. He gets the following message:

December 6, 201213 yr Did he try using the downloadable game client? As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapabale of solving approaches zero. Ensure you are not a social situation.

December 6, 201213 yr Rather than just removing old versions, he should try completely uninstalling all Java versions, rebooting the computer and then downloading and installing the current Java version again. btw - Does Java have it's own cache you can clear? December 6, 201213 yr Tell him to use Revo-Uninstaller to uninstall Java. I had problems with my Java and uninstalling it via the Control Panel didn't help, but uninstalling it with Revo cleaned up all the registry files associated with it which fixed my problem.
December 6, 201213 yr Demoli, also try to launch with just http://www.runescape.com/game.ws without anything after that. It will bypass some hidden javascript issues/annoyances that happen to be in the page when there is a "j=" parameter. :geek: ~D. V. "I hope this helps..."
