Abilities vs Momentum for Kuradal tasks

Featured Replies

I know that abilites are best for most tasks, so can anyone tell me those few tasks that momentum is better to use?

I haven't tried all monsters, but I like it with gargoyles with a wand. Iron drags too, and probably other low-lvl ones like greaters.

Greater demons actually have a decent amount of hp, and go much faster if you use abilities.

I usually only momentum tasks that have so little health that one ability takes down >60% of their hp, and only because I don't like to wait until I have more than one basic off cooldown before attacking the next monster.

As the size of an explosion increases, the number of social situations it is incapabale of solving approaches zero.

Ensure you are not a social situation.

If a monster is very weak, AoE attacks should be used to kill multiple at once. The only time you should use Momentum is that time when monsters die faster than you can tag them, because of your cannon plus abilities. But even then, abilities like Chain and Ricochet can help with tagging, so the monsters should be spread out as well (in which case they probably aren't worth doing anyway).

So far I use momentum on dags and gargoyles.

Anything that I can consistently two shot by auto attack then abilities is far faster with abilities.

On the topic of greater demons. They made their way onto my perm block list. However now that I know how easy it is to solo kril I might change that.
