February 1, 201313 yr So I'm about to hit 90 dung so isssh, prom platebody, primal maul and sag shortbow w/sag arrows a good setup? Or should I go to 95 dung and get a full melee setup with primal platebody/platelegs, ssh and primal maul?
February 1, 201313 yr Best would be either maul,shortbow,CCS and any plate(depending on theme weaknesses)/hood or maul, sag short, blood neck and one of the 2 plates/hood. Just one style would be horrible. Hex, if you get one, is about the same or slightly better than sag short(but you are unlikely to encounter one until ~105-115 dg). And of course if you get a blood necklace use that. @xpx I don't think tribrid is really worth it compared to a blood necklace. Maybe compared to hood, though it's slightly annoying. February 2, 201313 yr I don't mean to Hi-Jack or anything, but i'm going to hit 90 DG soon as well. I already have a CCS, Blood Neck, Sagi Short and Top + Bottom of the Armour i can wear (50 Def). I broke my Hood when i got BN (i forgot i could just bind it and still keep the hood, lol). I have 80 Atk and should hit 99 Str soon-ish.Was wondering what i should do about the next bind though. Would Melee be worth it, ie having tribrid? Or would a defensive bind be of more value.Right now whenever i DG it's usually with people who are a bit better than me, and also have higher Def, so they seem to leave a lot of food. I've not died in a DG more than once in a very long time (and this is without trying to stay alive). SS seems to heal me up for the most parts along with food drops and such. I've not yet had to waste any time to get health back (nor will i, if i have to die for hp then so be it). But i was wondering, based on this, would tribrid be the smartest way to go?
February 2, 201313 yr I think primal maul is definitely good, and your armour pieces are so weak that they aren't worth it. Hood would be nice as 5th. If you were using a chest piece, one of your attack styles would get a big penalty to accuracy - 15%. For that reason, I would prefer the higher dps styles (melee and ranged) with a melee body, dropping mage. At 50 defence though, a plate isn't worth it anyway.
