Guest GhostRanger
You have to remember the Nazi Party didn't start out to be an evil empire bent on world domination so the symbol they chose was something they would have considered good to have for their party. If the Republican Party in America for instance, tried to take over the world and killed entire races and branded their Republican elephant everywhere they went and on everything they wore, once they were defeated the elephant would probably have the same conotation as a swastika now. stevester77
Yes I did, it was also used as a symbol of friendship. You can find some old boy scout postcards from the 20's with swastika's on it.
hohto
Yes I knew really well. It was actually used by Finnish Air Forces before Hitler became the chairman of NSDAP. I was about to put 2 swastikas into my sig for respecting our troops, but after a talk with one mod I decided not to never use that sig. I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm

Some of the Native Americans had swastikas that meant peace and unity. Your true character is what you are like when you believe there are no repercussions. logic-is-overrated
I thought the swastika turned the tips backwards? That's what I thought, isn't it the ancient peace symbol backwards? This is the way the world ends. Look at this [bleep]ing shit we're in man. Not with a bang, but with a whimper. And with a whimper, I'm splitting, Jack. weezcake
The "reverse" swastika is an Asian good luck symbol (in Chinese and in Japanese Kanji, anyways). ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring. tintmangbpack
Oops, I forgot that the swastika was backwards from the Native American one. Your true character is what you are like when you believe there are no repercussions.
Barihawk
The reverse swastika was an Aryan sign of prosperity. Not Hindu, since they took over the Hindu :P. Sad that Hitler had to go and ruin it. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
rocketman089
Also a Native American Navajo thing, it was a good luck symbol, was even on a few Arizona State Highway signs in the 30's and 20's. Gamertag: King Arizona
