do you still get hit for extra damage if you wear it outside TzHaar City?

i thought i read somewhere they were going to change that, but there is no mention in the recent patch notes where they changed it back to lvl80 from lvl60...

It is better to remain silent and be thought a noob than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

I think it was one of the ideas they were throwing around, but rejected in the end.

It's tier 80 and you still take triple damage outside of the tzhaar area

It was planned (by the quest developer) to be T60 Hybrid gear without triple damage outside the TzHaar area. Obviously that didn't fly with the combat department.

Apparently it will get some niche use (outside the TzHaar area) after the armour reform in April. Don't quote me on it, though.
