Aeriath
are all of you low lvls or something? you stop getting all the basic stuff at like lvl 90 if not lower, then you make money and afk train to 110, go to kq, and barrows, and dag kings with friends, until you are rich beyond any means to care about gp anymore, 100m makes you set pretty much... Don't make assumptions. I'm level 91, and I buy noothing I can get myself. I mine coal and ess, fish lobs (can't fish sharks yet), cut yews (rarely, I don;t fletch much), pick flax etc. The only time I have bough a large quantity of anything was 13k iron ore, but that was because I was trying to get 70 smithing quickly before Christmas. RAHK
I too am all set with ess mining and flax picking. I also will never spin another bow string as long as I play unless they start rising in price like phats lol. I am all set with anything that has to do with yews as soon as I finish burning the rest of the ones that I have banked. I won't go out of my way to cut, fletch, or burn them again. I am all set on fishing for swordies, lobbies, and bass(-ies?). Sharks for me and trout/salmon for xp. Good topic by the way. :) PM me in game to use some skills of mine (glories/potions) free or to ask a question.Fire Cape - 04/29/06 Lvl 104RAHK's Pro PC Gear and Guide(clickable) Tired of hack and slash? qopitar
Good topic. I don't mine anymore (ess, coal, iron, nothing). I don't fish. I don't cut wood anymore. I've cut less then 10 yew logs in my whole time on RS. I still pick my own flax and then spin it into strings when making yew bows. I'll stop picking flax when I start crafting my own natures. My primary income comes from high alching yew longs.

thebrain27
Ill never ever do anything that ive done for money in the past ever again, since if i wasnt sick and tired of them i would still be doing them, ive moved on from alot of things, from cutting yews to crafting natures, ive pretty much moved away from the entire "Fletch/Alch Industry" so to speak, mind you, too many people are fuelling that entire alching yew longbow process  I usually only mine coal since id rather mine coal and superheat while mining than use any other method to smelt my addy, and thats at the rate of 20 bars a week  Mostly anything that involves collecting raw materials im over with. Just spend 2 hours at barrows, make afew mil and buy the stuff that i would go insane collecting myself, ive also reached the point where my own usage of supplies is higher than i can possibly ever bear to collect, i use more runes in a day than i used to craft in a week (i used to runecraft all my runes, now i use too many  ) I just buy what i need and waste a nice sum of money doing so, but theres no other way i could possibly get them.
