mishmal
Any1 have any idea how to obtain permission from a person to use something they have copyrighted for a video game/animated movie?
Azvareth
Them telling you it's fine to use whatever it may be (movie, video, image) should suffice, don't you think?

Bubsa
Take a page out of Eric Bauman's books: Don't ask, just take. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
adthegreat-
If you're afriad they could turn around and sue, then attain and keep written permission, there can be no argument if you can PROVE that you have the permission. That being said, most guys on the internet are nice enough, and won't harass you, and will let you take some stuff as long as you arent a large corportation (or Eric Bauman like Bubsa said 8) ). Just as long as you don't claim that anything which isn't yours, is yours, and credit the person, you should be fine. Mercifull
Email them and ask permission. Keep the email saved somewhere and credit the person on the website you showcase it. jak722
If all else fails and you cant find the original authors, plaster the work with citations and mention that "this" belows to that "person". The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak. In the event that the weighted companion cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.
