qbd help

so,its the first time im going to fight her, i only need to charge the royal cbow actually.Ive seen some guides but htye are either outdated or have requirments that i dont meet(overloads).

 

would ranging her do the trick? i have karil body and legs,arma helm,arma cbow and dragonfire shield.

or should i try melee?

also,note that i dont have super antifires(82 herb,lvling up with warbands so it will take some days to get to 85)

You can use a brown stew to temporarily boost your herblore level to 85 to make some superantifires. It'll make life a little easier, but it's not required.

 

Anyway, for QBD, you can use any attack style, but it is advised to use the strongest you have, which in your case probably isn't ranged (unless you have zaryte or dw ccbow). Magic is good if you have cstaff or vwand + book, melee is good if you have any chaotic with ee offhand (main-hand claw is best).

ugh, i only have a chaotic maul and arma staff. would that be too lame?

Maul works fine :). EE is good because it is a level 89 weapon by damage, much higher than your chaotic off-hands. But off-hands are only a third of your overall damage, so maul is not that much worse.

I need tips for QBD, too.

Would it be possible to get to QBD's fourth phase with a Lv. 70 weapon (Whip/Treachery/Arma crossbow-Karil's pistol)?

This is because I wanted to forge the Royal crossbow on my Noobier acc. Getting 85 herblore is not an option, so I have to use DFS and one of the above (Can't get any better in a reasonable time frame unfortunately.)

It will be rather hard, especially if you don't have good armor. Your accuracy will be really low, and you won't have extremes to boost your stats. Just make sure you have the 70 smithing requirement before you attempt to forge the bow and bring lots of rocktails.

Normal antifires still work alright, flame walls hit for about 2k a time though so you'd have to be much more precise. Probably better just to stick it out with the dfs+antifires.

 

t70 weapon should be alright now that we have a little base accuracy

Btw, Armadyl crossbow and karil pistol combo does NOT work anymore, the latter can only be used with Bolt racks, so you are basically limited to Dual Karil's Pistol if you want to qbd using that setup

Hah, gotcha.

Wand of treachery was really innacurate against QBD, but I managed to reach her last phase (wasn't too bad, I didn't damage her much often but she didn't damage me much either.)

 

Now, to get 80 Ranged so I can actually use it!
