purpieman2
Does clearing all monsters give the player who killed most of the monsters more xp at the end, or is it better just leaving them like when people rush dungeons?
Aiel
it's better to only clear GDs and some puzzles (mimes, 2nd page polter) DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). Rinc3Wind
Unless I really need food, I usually don't kill monsters if I don't have too.
Stev
Don't kill monsters that you don't need to - it's entirely XP waste.
purpieman2
Okay, many say it's better not to. But it's not clear if the whole team/the player would benefit at allin the end from killing all monsters.
Aiel
it effects the level mod which is the same for anyone. If you're focused on maximizing your own xp at the expense of others team DG probably isn't for you. Sy_Accursed
Within DG the ONLY factors that effect you individually are prestige & deaths. The floor base xp, level mod, bonus rooms, complexity and 'guide mode' alterations are identical for everyone in the floor.Monsters dead vs monsters alive does effect level mod, but its the same for the whole team and 9/10 killing all the GDs and any vital puzzle room kills should be enough to not be hit by it negatively - but even so the time spent chasing down monsters to purposefully try and boost it would mean worse xp:hr than just doing the floor normally. Tempest Mike
It'll give you more exp but not enough to make the time it takes worth it.
Navidx
Level mod will affect the amount of experience you will receive when you finish the floor. Although the time you spend clearing rooms other than Gds is really a waste, because it takes way longer than what you are rewarded for in exp. I would say that you get 10% more experience and you double the time of the floor.
purpieman2
Okay, makes sense why rushing is the best for experience. I haven't actually tried to clear everything unless the team agreed on it, which is possibly why i had slow xp in the beginning
