Slayer Exp

I've been out of the game for awhile, and in total I think I've done only one and half slayer tasks since EoC. I've seen people giving high figures for slayer exp per hour and I'm just wondering, is this by slaying normally and just completing your tasks, or is there new content you have to do for this? I already know about the Canafis Slayer Tower update but that's about it.

Kills per hour just got buffed massively with EoC. Not much to it, really. Cannon/titan isn't even required anymore, but barrage is very good because the default is multicombat now.

Barraging is really the way to go, until they pickup that is the problem and is fixed in 6-9 months time. Things like Abbysal Demons and Nechs are barragable in ST, which massively increases xp/h. Add to this use of Morytania Legs 4 (assuming you have, if not, no worries) for 10% bonus xp AND collection of a Special Slayer Contract for another 20% bonus xp.

Dagganoth are still barrageable in Waterbirth, but you really do need a cannon to draw in spawns.

Do you recommend barraging all tasks?

A lot of people have been suggesting that lately. I may try it, as I need range/mage XP more than melee. It does enough damage to kill spawns quickly, even if it is not their stated weakness.
