J35u5_M4
So I've had this question ever since the most recent EoC fix. Is the damage shown on the power armor's info the % of dmg boost that the item is supposed to give? Like the 26 DMG on torva plate is the 3,5% dmg boost of a tier 80 fastest weapon? Or is the DMG on the item something and the % dmg boost is an invisible boost? Because the 3,5% of the weapon damage of chaotic claws (768) is 26.88 which rounded down is 26, and the 2,5% is 19 (the one shown on torva legs) EDIT: New question I got told today that chaotic crossbows are 'glitched' because they give no damage bonus, which I found odd, because that would put two handed ranged weapons at a far higher advantage. So I started messing around with weapons and found out that, having two chaotic crossbows with royal bolts will give the same damage on interface as having dual chaotic claws, and having royal crossbow/zaryte will yield the same damage on interface as chaotic maul. So according to this they're perfectly fine. Just wanted someone to confirm me that they are indeed working fine? Also, with the recent EoC fix, staves lost their damage bonus, so with this I'm guessing, ability wise, staff should be the same as the book/wand combo? J35u5_M4
So, this power armor update didn't really change them as much as I thought it did, because torva already had those damage boosts before the update :/
Quyneax
Torva lost 5 levels worth of defence, the damage boost didn't change much, but it got rolled out to all GWD armour pieces instead of just chestplates. V O R K
Verac is better then bandos if you are soloing high level bosses. More defence, LP and pray is better then perhaps 90 extra damage... If you mass void would be a better choice. Power armour is a joke. Sway all day, Butterfly flaps all the way! ✿ ♥‿♥)
Sy_Accursed
Yeah but, nex sets didn't get buffed at all, which I thought they did Nex gear did get a buff of sorts...they made extra defence and lp (comparative to nex/gwd) utterly pointless in 99% of cases thereby making nex even better. If you mass void would be a better choice. Power armour is a joke.that's incorrect. There's very few places you need defense at all, and even fewer where increased defense outweighs increased damage. DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers ringsQBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow partsCR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size....It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty). Ulysses
sorry to hijack the thread... but in light of the change, is void still preferable over nex/gwd gear for damage output? is the void boost still 10% as per before? Quyneax
I believe void still works, but the defence got slashed as all-class armour has 15 tiers lower defence.
