We should have a tip.it old school world

Figured it might mean we can find some other tif'rs in game at some point. Even though there's only like 10 of us. I think we should pick either 370 or 366. Any thoughts?

I don't plat old school at the moment but I will in the future. But Just a question, why those two worlds?

Pardon my interjection, but this just seems like the place to bring it up... Do we even still have a RS Main Tip.It'er World, or has the restructure taken that away? Also, if we've lost that, then do we even want a Tip.It'er World for the RS OldSchool? Would we re-establish the Main about the same time as establishing the OldSchool? :huh:

 

BTW, I don't see a W370 or W366 when checking the list @ http://oldschool.runescape.com/slu ... Are those some in-game designators? :o

On the main menu, friends list and CC, OSRS worlds have a 3 before their number (and a 0 for 1 digit worlds), so Old School 1 becomes 301, Old School 10 becomes 310, etc.

Huh, never knew that. I looked around for a bit and never saw mention of it. Also, I picked 370 or 366 because I currently use 370 as my homeworld, and I used to use w66 as my homeworld way back in the day :P

 

 

But I guess 333 it is.

Well, everyone in Serpent Eye Hyt FC who played OSRS used World 333, so I assume they decided it was the Tip.It world, kind of like how World 99 is the Tip.It world.

Huh, everyone in Codguy (blogscape) fc who played Old School used 370, so I assumed it might have been 370. Funny.

Nobody ever plays OSRS in Serpent Eye FC anymore anyway, and when they do, they aren't on world 333, so might as well make 370 the TIF world.

And it's done, official Old School Tip.it world shall be 370! ...Or it would be if I was a tif mod. It'd be nice if any TIF mods/admins could make that official though. I want to hyt people again.

While we are on the subject of worlds and FC's, is there an unofficial OSRS FC or would HYT (Serpent Eye) still be it?

Pretty sure it's still serpent eye (hyt) or codguy (blogscape). No purely OSRS fc, unless we wanted to make one, which I'm not really opposed to assuming people would use it.
