k ive bin in the fishing guild atm for like 2 hours just fishin some lobs

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and ive noticed random people dont respond at all

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and every once in a while they will randomly say a phrase with no text in it..

as u see that SSj2040 (just made up) just said a random line of nothing.. things like this keep happening repeatedly every 5-10 mins from the same people

maybe to prove that they aint autoers? maybe. I dunno

i have noticed quite a lot of people doing it, i know on Rsc if you held down any Key it would mean you would not be logged out.. which meant a lot of people jammed something down their space bar to keep them logged on. it could be that, but im not sure that it works anymore,

main reason for most that do that is cause they trying to stop from being logged out, rather than clicking again on fishing spot.

i quite often have chat off or in hide mode, so i can only see those near to me. i dont often talk while fishing to be honest. most of the chat there isnt worth listening to (from my point of view) :)

I would only be concerned of a player if they are doing that and they get a randon event they dont respond to :)

usualy when I wc or mine and ocasionly say few words to ppl I dont get any events for about 40min

it is also used when your fishing and have chat turned off, so you dont keep seeing the same text of you caught ( blank). you hit space and enter so you know when you catch more stuff rather than have inventory open

i spent a while fishing over the past couple days and every now and then a lvl 3 would be like

Nothing strange really. I take people to banks and they do that to keep themselves from logging out while following me.

It's ridiculous the level of suspicion that's everywhere in RuneScape. I understand it's because of the macroers and I know that they're a problem but it really makes the game less fun with everyone suspecting one another of macroing. Why can't we all just get along?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Think about it, is reporting one macroer or even five macroers going to make THAT much of a difference in the game overall? Of course not... Let it go, let JAGeX fight the war against macroers, enjoy the game. Macroers aren't going to go away, they'll just keep improving their scripts and creating new characters. All these posts on the forums dealing with people acting suspiciously or people someone thinks that are hacking... who cares? Enough already, it's getting tiresome.
