February 14, 200620 yr Ooh, about time I posted about some cool new free thing that isn't google related. :) I just found this from a magazine. Basically you can upload any segment that you choose from an mp3 file or whatever to your cell phone for free. No paying five bucks per ringtone, often when the ring tone isn't even the part of the song you want or in a bad format. Site: http://mobile17.smashsworld.com/shell/ You can send to your phone: ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâû Mega/Super/Real Tones (with Lyrics) ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâû Color Graphics and Photos Transfer... ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâû Mono/Polyphonic Tones (without Lyrics) ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâû Moving Animations (GIFs) ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâû Mobile Video (3GP, Coming Soon.) There is a wait time to send em, but it's still worth it since it's free. Just thought some people here might want to know about the site. :)
February 14, 200620 yr My phone is never really off vibrate anyway, so I don't bother. Loud, ringing phones are pretty high up on my list of pet peeves anyway. Gamertag: King Arizona
February 14, 200620 yr thanks! i always wanted something like that! the reason why ringtones bought on the phone are so stupid, its $0.99 for an itune track [i don't use itunes though]; for a good quality full song, and it's like $3 for about 5 seconds of 28kbps .. that's stupid. that's why i don't buy stuff from the phone, lol.
February 14, 200620 yr Shame i didnt know about this before i went and got a dongle :x Oh well, would be handy for people who cant use a data cable or bluetooth dongle. Nice find i guess.
February 15, 200620 yr I don't really understand this, Adam. I signed up and what not, but i'm not sure. I mean how do i get the song from my E-mail, to my cell phone? :/
February 15, 200620 yr Thats so cool! But I can just record stuff w/ my cell and set it as a ringtone... but the quality isnt that great... Still, thanks, Im gonna go try it ^.^ And for all those people who Ctrl + C ed this, or apple'd it... or performed some type of witchcraft to make it bigger... You rawk! ;0 ... Kinda... Which is dumb because... eh.. you get the point.

When your song is uploaded, they give you a url to your phone or you just get it texted, where you download it. Might cost a dollar from transfer rates if you don't have a plan.
