Green dragons

I'm probaly not the first person to think this, but why are green dragons only in the wilderness.

This doesnt make any sense to me, they are the lowest type of dragon and thus the lowest type of dragon armor that is able to be made so why are the closest ones to safety in level 16 wilderness?

There are multiple places for people so kill blue drags and the black dragon is in a safe place away from PKers and reds are away from wildy so they can be killed in relitive safety.

What i am suggesting is for a new area not in wildy for people to kill green dragons, yes this would lower the price of green ranging armor but it would not make it too low as it is able to be purchased from NPCs over the whole of Runescape, and would also give lower combat players somewhere to get some experience and also make a bit of cash in doing so.

Post thoughts please

I see the logic behind it, but is it really that much of an issue?

What you might have to consider as well is the Green Dragon strengths. Blue, red and blacks are pretty much a risk fighting them on their own, regardless of their location. Green dragons are quite a bit weaker and, if some were in a non-wildy area, it would be very easy to get a lot of d-hides and d-bones for not a lot of effort (of course, the dragons are still hard). Therefore, the Dragons might be better off in the wilderness to add a little bit more danger to fighting them.

not a bad idea.....

Yes it is. Easy killable monsters with worth while money = easy money.

It should stay in wildy, easy money should be hard to get.

Thus making it no longer easy money.

But besides that many have suggested moving Green Dragons before, but here's my Runescape logic on this. Firstly you defeat Elvarg the green dragon who had been imprisoned there. This is at level fourty and later. You have the confidence to go and defeat other dragons but it is the fear of the wilderness and the prowling bandits that lurk in every shadow that keeps you away. So only until much later eighties or so that you venture deeper into the wilderness to find these dragons and face off the monstrous creatures.

So for that reasoning I suppose Green Dragons should stay in the wilderness because it keeps all the weak people away from training there. That's my spiel.

this has been brought up before. It would be really nice but really, this is the thing that high lvl 50 and low lvl 60 crafters crave. I think its fine the way it is. Puts a balance on things.

Not true. I killed my first green dragon in wildy at like 60 something, but I had an addy hally (i know a decent spot too!) but thats off topic.

I agree with the fact that it would be a less challenging money source, but that starts to make the game less fun. Which would you rather play:

An addicting, challenging game

A baby game (like Candy Land)

One of those requires some skill to win/play well. Can you guess?

But if they moved the green drags, why not make them F2P while your at it? The demons just aren't that challenging for some F2P people who aren't going to upgrade anytime soon.
