Enuf12345
I was wondering does swiftkit have an auto screenshot feature? Was just looking at Orion and it has it but I don't play old school.
Leik
Yes it does. Just press print screen and it will automatically capture your Runescape window. LIVERPOOL WILL WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS SEASON. Enuf12345
I mean does it/can it do it automattically when I get a new level. Say I advance from level 50 -> 51. Orion would automatically take a screenshot without me having to push anything.
Marius
Hi, That's not possible for us as we adhere to the original set of rules for 3rd party apps, we can't interact with the game it self in any way. The feature you are describing requires packet sniffing, which we have no plans of doing at this time. RuneScape Treasure Trails
Enuf12345
Ah that explains it.Some of the pro features seemed a little "hacky".
Marius
Yes, that's the impression a lot of users are left with, and we've worked extensively to adhere to the rules throughout the years so we have no immediate plans of dropping all the groundwork we've laid down in that regard. Glad you're using SK and we do hope you stick wit hit and enjoy the features it brings you! RuneScape Treasure Trails
Simmo
Just to clarify what marius is saying, after meeting with Jagex at Runefest and talking to them about these issues, what orion dose in terms of reading data from the java client isn't a breach of the rules as such they are allowed to do it because they only read data not write it. Think of it as a decriminalisation, its a breach of the rules but you won't be punished as there was no harm done. There is a very fine line when it comes to decoding the java client. One we currently don't have any plans to walk.

One we currently don't have any plans to walk. Why do they go back on their own rules then? This is what Orion clearly does (the quote below, underlined). * Software that monitors, modifies or decrypts the communications between our game applets and our game worlds. There's no way Orion could do the things it does unless it reads/monitors the packets. And I would be right here arguing the point with you (see my previous posts) if i hadn't heard it from them myself. They allow them to do it because there's no harm done.
