Hi guys, quick question:

 

What's the most efficient fishing XP method available? I am currently L76 and I am ignoring profit, this is purely for XP. Obviously I will continue to do FF, but am I right in assuming I should be doing barb fishing? Or is C2 dungeoneering faster?

Fishing: Start off using your best divination bubble until 48/58 fishing for barbarian fishing. Then barbarian fish with best urns until 90. C2 Fish to 99.

This is just my opinion on the most efficient but I would recommend barb fishing at your current level, doing the fish dnd for decent xp and bonus xp outfit

Thanks guys- very useful. Should I use a granite lobster with barb fishing? I imagine that there will be no foraging, but the level boost can't hurt I guess.

 

And will my Supreme Call of the Sea aura have an effect?

Unless it changed, I think it was glitched/bugged/weird in that it only fished swordfish while barb fishing. Granted, it's been a very long time since I've done any barb fish...

It forages sharks as well (at least mine dropped 8-10 or so when the timer ran out)

C2s should be more efficient than Barb fishing at almost every level according to my personal research. Take from that what you will. Barb fishing is more enjoyable, imo, but C2s is certainly more efficient if you want to try-hard play or train dng anyway. They're quite close around 70, and get further apart with C2s winning the whole time as you approach 99. 

 

Personally I'd do rocktails since they're afkable. About half the xp/hr as barb fishing with way less than half as many inputs per hr. 

I suggest barb to 90 for that extra if minimal agility xp. Also with c2s you shouldn't be finishing the floors (unless you're referring to the dg xp while skilling scroll

Believe it or not, some people do rush their lower floors as c2

if you have no floors to rush then you rq. if you need to train dg anyway, it is far more efficient to actually finish fls while doing c2s, obviously...
