sportsjock215
So I started by doing Frost Drags but sometimes I die not paying full attn with blue orbs. I have 89 range and maxed melee. I then started killing Gladius but it seems there drops have gotten way worse. Should I go back to killing Frost Drags or is there something better?I use full Armandyl, chaotic dual xbows, and royals bolts.I am looking for what is best monster for a balance between range exp and moneymaking. Peever
Unless your doing some sort of dragon I think Waterfiends have to be a good shout for this
Arceus
I'm not P2P but I think waterfiends also, from what my friends tell me. "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Can games be art? --- My blog here if you want to check out my Times articles and other writings! sportsjock215
I know they are good for charms but are they good for moneymaking?
Stev
Rorarius. Screw Gladius and Scutarius. 500XP+ each kill, they auto-retaliate, and drop keys like they're going out of business. Even void worked fantastic there when I had it, but I have a tendency to AFK, die, and come back half hour later without it... So I've not tried void since Legacy was released. I do often times see people down there in royal, however.
Hedgehog
Do your most productive ranged method + your most productive moneymaking method So flip and kill waterfiends
sportsjock215
Ok maybe I will try Rorarius.Hedge-Well i mainly make money doing pvm. And I would rather range and actually get useful exp, then melee pvm and then later do range for good exp.
JeRambo
Definantly Rorarius for money + XP. Use revolution with ricochet and auto retaliate, very AFK. Bunyip and soul split for healing. Only trouble could be finding empty worlds. They're not very good for charms though, other than golds. "Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come." "An imperfect man can do great deeds, and a great man imperfect ones.
sportsjock215
Yeah. I need 2k more crims for 99 summoning but I will switch to something else if I need to get crims fast. I know when I use vamp aura I didn't even need food almost at Gladius. I will try roarius and see how it goes. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Quasar
if you have some money in the bank (probably at least 300m) you should make ascension crossbows. good xp, great charms, and on average you'll profit around 40m/bow. best drops (reasonably accurate/up to date): 1x Elysian Sigil (LS), 1x Arcane Sigil (cs), 4x Armadyl Hilt (solo at 100m, 100m, 50m, and 5m), 2x Saradomin Hilt (solo at 25m), 5x Draconic Visage (34m,1.2m,1.2m) and various cs/ls/ffa Nex splits. Quote from RuneWiki: Assuming one obtained each signet on the 64th kill, it would cost, on average, 168,350,712 coins to create an ascension crossbow. GE mid is 181M for bow, so that makes roughly 12.5M profit.

NealolaeN
Personally, I would recommend doing Exiled Kalphites (in the grave room). They often drop rune items, lots of charms, herbs and of course 100% drop of damaged chitin.

Sattern
I have done waterfiends with a bunyip 75 defense and have killed them from about 70-75 - maxed Ranged and I must say they offer great experience rates, charms and some cash. I get about 500k an hour while gaining 150-200 crimsons and 200k Ranged Exp/Hour. You should try those. Blue dragons are also good, but incredibly boring. I'd suggest getting 70 agility and 67 summoning if you want to kill those efficiently.
