Without having to pay more than 1 GP what is the fastest way to get lots of empty vials?

You can have lots of accounts buying them in the GE and transfer, I suppose.  The other method is to go to RSOF and see what kind of a deal you can negotiate with the sellers there.  I don't know of any NPC's that sell massive supplies.

If you're willing to pay 2gp, you can split 4-dose potions into 1-dose potions with Bob Barter.

I doubt it. I think he's trying to profit on them, as bulk collections (millions) are being sold from 1.5-2gp/vial. Therefor he's needing bulk supplies but not paying over 1gp/vial.

I didn't realize they counted that too under that umbrella - I thought it was more for minigames, killing monsters, etc.  But in that case, never mind  :-# .

What are the multi account rules, exactly?

Basically, your main can help your alt, but not the other way around

The multi account rules are essentially you can give yourself stuff and even play simultaneously if you desire.

 

All that is disallowed is using multiple accounts to bypass or manipulate game mechanics.

This means things like using both accounts to 'boost' minigames (eg using your alt to get wins on ur main for fight caves)

Or using secondary accounts to bypass limitations - e.g. using an alt to get double the daily free sand or double the daily seaweed stock or bypass ge buy limits.

 

Basically for any given activity look at it and ask is this something someone with just 1 account can do in the same timespan - if the answer is no you cannot use your alts to help you do it.

The whole purpose of asking this question is because how do so many RS forums people get more than 1 million Vials in their pocket when it takes at least 16.6 days to buy them assuming you attempt to get them from the GE? Also, Vials usually don't come from the GE consistently. I've had times where I got the full 10,000 limit but I've left a GE offer for 1M vials and still haven't gotten even 300k. There are a lot of times when none are being sold.

 

Also, I would not bother negotiating with anyone on forums as they never sell for under 2GP each.

 

Now regarding the extra accounts, if anyone actually created 10 accounts, it would still take months to get 1M vials unless you're lucky you get them exactly every 4 hours. 

 

So how do people get so many fast?

There's no magic way of getting that many vials out of then air.  Even if they had some illicit way of obtaining them, at a maximum of 2gp each it wouldn't add up to enough.  The fact is that there are many, many of them in existence in the game, and they trade hands between forum sellers all trying to make a profit.  Maybe they find smaller sellers and bundle them together, for instance.

Bob would clearly be the best option but he charges too much for empty vials. My point isn't to profit but to actually collect a ton of them. If I wanted like 2bil of Vials why should I pay 4bil for them? Also, even if I wanted to profit off of them, there would be no point because nobody on forums offers a buy more than 2GP. 

 

Why does stupid Jagex make them 2GP from Bob when they're regular price for Jujus?

It's just a set value they choose, which at the time was lower than ge value of vials.

No both Bob and the female decanter charge 2GP for a Vial. Not sure why Jagex did that but I guess they wanted more of a gold sink.

If 4 dose costs less than 3 dose odds are you ain't gonna be able to buy it to make profit from cause people ain't dumb they aren't gonna decant to 4 dose if 3 dose is worth more and equally they aren't going to sell 4 doses for so little when it obviously has more worth as 3 dose.

you will have a greater number of them, ive had many times where had to decant to 3 dose because 4 dose wont sell med, then the 3 dose sells over
