Wondering if anyone here is using Legacy over EoC.

 

I was kinda disappointed that Legacy isn't even viable for GWD (can't facetank with Soul Split on). Though have been using it now for every non-boss because I hate EoC (even if Revolution is a saving grace)..

 

But it does have it's uses, like TD's in legacy was much easier than EoC.

 

Are there any other places where EoC is favored?

 

 

I kind of find EoC to be preferable since you can use a 2h and slam away with damage so fast with abilities, but then they nixed queuing.  It is helpful for Ranged/Magic because you need almost nothing in ammunition.  Each ability just fires off without using an arrow, bolt, or set of runes, so you only really pay for the initial one.

All you have to do is play on legacy only worlds.

Not sure why anybody would want to touch EOC even if spamming buttons hundreds of times and waiting for desynced animation to eventually occur is somehow faster...

Most of my annoyance at EoC comes from Revolution re-initiating combat even when I click away ten times to something else.  Otherwise it seems fairly smooth.  Maybe the hitsplats appear slightly early - might bug some people more than others ;).

He's not entirely wrong. There is input delay just in general in this game, but you deal with it if you want to play.

 

Legacy works with slayer, but a good revolution bar may be better.

 

You do need the damage, buffs, and debuffs eoc abilities give on a lot of bosses. There isn't really a way around it.

It's more fun for me. The choices are pressing buttons or clicking a mouse. They're both pretty mindless but eoc feels more smooth

Opening you bank in EOC worlds and trying to grab items is like a guessing game.

Will I get that item on the first click, the second click, the third, maybe the fourth?

I think you might just be crazy.I see no difference between both modes... If anything, you are playing on separate worlds, it may be a ping issue

I do have bank lag issues sometimes, with my usual EoC setup...but I don't really want to look at a new interface and right now I'm fishing anyway so I'm not going to test Legacy.

Abby walkers (training mage def) blood burst/barraging there SHOULD be done with Legacy imo :P i tried for 1 hr with full subj and SoL. No boosts. Over 600k xp.

No it's runescape server, net code, game engine problem.

My internet and computer can play any other game with no problems.

Play legacy/eoc on the same world, rather than playing on separate worlds.

Feels like legacy should be used on mobs you can like 1-2 shot like Greater Demons. Whiles bosses and Airuits needs for sure EoC to be efficient. But that's just me after a week of using it.
