BullyKutta
A few weeks ago I had my santa hat and 3m cash with me and some guy wanted to trade a red mask for my santa. He told me to meet him at Edgeville. I say OK. He then says he is east of bridge. So i carefully go trying not to go in the wildi then I see him hes level 76 while im 99. So I say he cant attack me then he is behind a tree, so when i trade him my guy moves to the wildi. He accepted the trade quick before I even realized I was in the wildi. And his clan came and they ancient maged me and dds speced me. I ran out with 12 hp but they had 1 last hit which was a 12 and i died. I lost 3m and a santa. Anything like this happened to u before? Silverchipmunk
I wish something like this could happen to me. And here's a tip: Put everything valuable in the bank (including armour), and ask them to move out of wildy. If they say no, then go to them and pretend you have whatever it is that they want. If nobody attacks you, then go get the valuable and trade it. (Make sure it's the only thing you have, just in case.)

CelticQueen
Oh dear, what an expensive lesson to learn :( Sometimes I can't believe the lengths some people will go to just to get their hands on different items.

pro28
They offer to tradeyou, then run north. Your character will run north to chase the guy down, then boom, you realize you are in lvl 6 wildy and the guy and his stupid friends kill you for your precious addy armor. Errr,, not that it ever happened to me.

weezcake
Something tells me that if someone wants to trade but they can't spare the time to walk out of the wilderness to do so, they don't really want the item. ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring. harper128
There's actually a couple of rants about it over on the rant board. I don't know if it's qualified as a bug, a scam, or just something you have to avoid. It is unfortunate that we are exposed to this lesson through those who have experienced it and lost such large sums. But, well, better I learn the lesson from your loss than from my own. XiaoStrike
That's a very clever way of scamming; however, bad. The best tip I could give is to ask them to come out of the wilderness.
