March 1, 200620 yr I was fishing lobsters in Catherby when some people were saying their favorate foods, so I thought of burgers, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, any burgers in Runescape. So here's the quest: Some guy in Falador, introduces a new type of food to the White Knights, but they dont like it. So this guy askes you if you can deilver a pack of burgers to some guy in Varrock. Then he says to get some ingredents for the guy in Varrock. You need a cabbage, bread, cheese, tomato, and cooked meat. Then he makes a burger shop in Varrock and you completed the quest. Now you get some Cooking Exp and the ability to make and buy burgers. You'll need like 20 cooking to make them, and at the guy's store they cost like 100 gp ea, and they heal like 10 or something. To make a burger, you need to have a cabbage, tomato, cheese, bread, and cooked meat in your inventory. You "use" one peice of food on a range and it'll give you a opiton to make a burger. Post your thoughts. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
March 1, 200620 yr Unless it healed like 100hp, I don't really see many chefs going to all that trouble to get all the different ingredients necessary for a hamburger...
March 1, 200620 yr Unless it healed like 100hp, I don't really see many chefs going to all that trouble to get all the different ingredients necessary for a hamburger... 100 bites :) ^^ click my sig for my lesser ranging guide ^^jwrm22: 4816th > 99 cooking 100% f2p !1172 total! + 140mil in items.i dont play anymore... i think rs is ruined
March 1, 200620 yr Lets see for a comparison to other f2p foods: Item cooking Level hp healed # of ingredients Tuna 30 10 1 Meat Pie 20 11(6,5) 3(plus dish) Stew 25 11 3(plus bowl) Hamburger 20 10 5 Not only that, the cheese and tomato are not the easiest to get on f2p. Personally, while I would do the new quest, I really don't see myself making these. At 20, you can already make the Meat Pies, a two bite healer, with ingredients that are much easier to gather. The pie dish and the stew bowl are both re-useable, so, while you need them for the items, you don't have to keep gathering them once you have a few to keep reusing. Now, I'm always open to new quests and new items in game. This could have its place, but the final product needs to be re-worked a bit first. The sheer number of ingredients and their scarcity outweigh its novelty.
March 1, 200620 yr There are already a ridiculous number of cookable foods in rs, cooking seems to be the "pet skill" of someone at Jagex lately. Suzanne Vegatokin rite wurx gud!
March 1, 200620 yr It's actually easy to see why. You can create a variety of foods with the base ingredients already available. You can easially make variations on already existing items and by simple modification of existing images(changes to colors and such) throw in new items. Such as soups and stews. How hard would it be to add in more soups and stews? You could add chicken noodle soup (chicken meat, water, and bread dough). French onion soup, cabbage soup(borsht?), etc... How about some variations on cooked vegetables? Make creamed corn and other such dishes. And, all that would be needed for these, again, are variations on the available graphics. What this means is no new mechanics, no real new graphics, just modifications on existing ones, and a bunch of new stuff for players to try out. Plus, the foods are easily dropped into and between existing foods. They don't have to be better, just different.
March 1, 200620 yr Well, Jagex have put in more pointless quests before so...I wouldn't say it's beyond the realms of possibility, and the ingredients already exist in the game. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
March 2, 200620 yr You could also make like a hamburger, cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, or one with onions tomatoes and lettace. Theres many variations that could be used. I like your idea just cant really picture burgers in a rs era
March 2, 200620 yr Author And when I mean shop, not like a McDonalds, like a stall or something. Well, if the cheese and tomato are hard to get, maybe they wont be there. But you'll still need meat, bread, and cabbage. Well there's pizzas, why not burgers? "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
March 3, 200620 yr i don't think jagex want to promote "unhealty" eating Gosh, do you think they don't want to promote player killing either? This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
March 3, 200620 yr f2pers dont deserve anymore quests.. f2p is a demo version of the game, any new quests would be p2p only
March 4, 200620 yr Kind of alot of ingredients for just 10hp. Mabe there should be different types. Like a regular hamburger with just meat and bread that heals 10. And a deluxe one with all the ingredients that heals about 15. f2pers dont deserve anymore quests.. f2p is a demo version of the game, any new quests would be p2p only Go away, troll. If you dont have anything constructive to say, dont post. This being f2p or p2p is beside the point.
