Why should we buy postage stamps when we can make our own?

Her head seems small in comparison with her body, or she's slightly fat. Besides that, good shading. Maybe draw the backside of the phat going all the way around the head.

Pixel sigs by me.

Hmm thanks guys, fixed the phat and trimmed up her waist a bit and added some muscle definition in the ab area. The proportion is fine I think as far as the head is concerned. Anything else besides the obvious lack of hands :P?

I have to disagree with you on this one. The body is equivalent to 7 1/2 heads stacked on top of each other. The proportion of my drawing lines up with correct proportions shown in this pic:

If anything her head is too big. Unless I'm missing something.

awsome..do you use photoshop?

do you use a tablet or mouse?

do you ink your line art or do you use pen tool?

Thanks, yes, I use photoshop.

Tablet.

Neither, I don't have line art really.

Any other comments? I'll be updating this soon hopefully.

I'll throw some c/c at ya. :)

The way the shirt curves around her stomach is almost suggesting that she's really putting an effort into making her stomach bulge out, and the way she's standing almost makes it look even worse (with her arms "pushing" her stomach out). If you could fix the shirt curve it may help fix the "fat" issue people are seeing.

Her right eye seems to tilt slightly, making it look a lot more snake-like. Not sure if this was intentional or not, but it seems a little out of place with the rest of this.

Speaking of out of place.. the party hat! The shading style is dramatically different and almost looks more like a pixel than digital painting. It seems too wide, as if it could slip right down her head.

I like it though :) It's definitely got potential.

Mmm cc. Ok I see what your saying with the shirt so I fixed that up a bit, adjusted the phat so it won't slip down her head. ;) The shading I like though so I think I'll keep that. Played with her eyes a bit trying to get more of a natural look; I wasn't going for a snake eyed woman. :P Honestly, I find facial features and hands so very hard to capture with these small pictures. I usually do end up going right in there and pixeling them in. Oh, and I added a hand too, woot.

Thanks for all the excellent cc so far everyone, it's a great help to get other artistic eyes pointing out what they see. I can stare at a piece for hours sometimes to see some things it may take some other a second to see, too close to the project I guess. Anyways, I hope to see more it's always appreciated. :)

I may be the only one, but to me, the neck seems too short. Maybe make it a bit longer? :? I dunno, I'm not the best at sigs, just a bit of advice.

Writing in colour was fun while it lasted...

nice work over all. i see the fat issue, but she stil looks a tad fat. i don't like the shading on the party hat, it looks like she cut it out of a shiny purple can, no offense. it doesn't suit the rest of the drawing. also if i'm not mistaken dragonhide tops are vests not shirts?

Her face looks alot better, now just change her eye colour to blue.. What is it with you and scary green eyes?

Also the "fat" issue is easily fixable, change her back ( her left side ) so that it goes up and is cut off by her breasts so it doesnt look like her body is the large part... , the skin shading is amazing though, she has a very lovely chest

Lowgravity, I want to be just like you. But...I never will be as 1337 as you. :(

Thanks, there won't be one unless my friend doesn't want the character, then I might do something with it...

I like green eyes! This fat issue I'm just not seeing it man. As far as doing that to her back would be wrong because she is kind of turned to the side. I think it would look funny if I did what you suggested. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Here's a close up to kind of get a better idea of her position, maybe I need to better clarify her somehow...

Hmmm...i think the problem is she has no hips really....a woman with a large chest generally has good sized hips..... and maybe if the d hide top curved down instead of up might help...and maybe a little more ab muscle

thanks everyone for the sigs!

Ok, I trimmed her up some, does this help the overweight issue I was having, I think so, did I get it?
