ok so lately i have noticed a few ppl at lvl 125 and they r training WC or mining or something and i was just wondering why.

i just dont get why, if your alreayd at 125, so close to the highest lvl there is, why would u stop to train something else? why not raise it one more lvl and then train something else?

Maybe they just did like 3 weeks of combat training, magic, and prayer to get where they are now, and decide to try something else before they go nuts.

Also, not all people are interested in being the max. combat level.

I'm sure you would find it easy to resist it if you found out you need like 100k d bones...which cost a fortune and definityly take longer to gather 1 by one. And take even longer than that to grind and pray at ecto...easily resistable...

Have you ever done a huge load of training? After you've done it aren't you tired of doing that same thing over and over again? Unless you're very low leveled and the next level could be right around the corner for you you'll probably get tired of doing someting continuously.

Even if you're fighting different enemies (and leveling slayer at the same time) you'll still get bored of repeating the same thing. All Runescape fighting is Point, click, check attack style, eat, wait, and repeat the last two steps until you're done.

What of the financial cost of killing monsters? Perhaps they don't want to kill millions of goblins to get their next level, they want to fight Metal Dragons instead. Any difficult monster will cost you loads in Food and Potions if you're going to be there for a long time. Their other skills can pay their fighting bills.

Lastly having a character with a level 126 combat level is an amazing feat but it has been done before. If you simply have 99 Hp, Defence, Attack, Strength, Prayer, Magic, and Range that's a great accomplishment but that's only one third of the entire game! You still have all of those other skills to work on. No matter who you are, a high Total Levels will gain you some respect or admiration from your peers on Runescape.

You're speaking about a ton of xp. A cb lvl of 125 is realized at 99 for all mele stats and a prayer of 90.

A heck of a lot of dragon and ancient bones at ectofuntus... if your melee stats are all 99 you need a prayer of 98 for 126 cb. Just from 97 to 98 is 1,112,977xp - to get there off dragon bones alone you'd have to grind and worship with 3865 bones.

The total number of dragon bones needed from 90 prayer - the low end of CB 125 - to 98 prayer is 11,535 at ectofunctus.
