Can you honestly tell me that you would give all of this back? Yes, I have given all that type of stuff back before ... and ironically I picked up a similar death pile at the same place. I was doing slayer and this guy apparently feel asleep there or something. Had his name so gave it all back. It's just part of my ethics I guess, of course I'm tempted to keep stuff like that when the situation arises but I do not feel right about keeping it either. If I had not gotten his name of course I would have no choice but keep it - unless they contact me.

ie.) When I look at myself on the highscores I'm surrounded by people with much more experience... the difference is the levels and what I leveled compared to them... in terms of time. The variance between exp on my total level is well over 100kexp and that seems to hold true throughout all total levels... The difference between she and zez's is not that wide. Have you ever thought the time taken for exp of 99 rc and 99 farming is the difference? What I mean by that is the weight of her exp difference in something else was taken up by zez's rc... one level in rc exp compared to one level exp in some other skill is a heck of a lot more in terms of time or effort. In other words ... just considering RC... by the time she crafts 1,050,481 laws or what have you to get to 99 (just short of 10 mil exp). Ziz would have gained a lot more exp in some in other skills.

Does it matter to p2p? Most everyone I know have 10k of pure ess or more... well except me, I mine it as I need it so nvr have more than a few K at a time - so really don't affect me. All in all, the people it really hurts are f2p legits as they lost a relevant source of income which many low level accounts depended on.

Quit sayin' your almost 91 and just say your lvl 90 8) . I guess I agree with your argument, but its pretty hard to be definite or pin-point with a matter as large as this. Though I never looked at it the way you see it, so I tend to agree with what your saying. I don't consider a combat 90 or even my 110 to be a high level, Why? well for one thing level 92 of any stat is just the half-way mark up the experience ladder. Anyway, back to on topic... I'll tell you why most mid to high level people are older or more mature on average. Kids are more drawn to action and basically virtual fishing, woodcutting, crafting, herblore etc... are actually quite boring. Kids play a game for fun - how much fun do you have stringing 10k of bows or mining 10k of coal? ie.) My brother - he's 13 - will spend hour upon hour on DDO or Guild Wars... multiplayer action/adventure games. Ask him why he plays rs very little anymore and he'll tell you right off that he finds the game terribly boring. Most MOORPG center around adventure, graphics and sound and rs does not fall into such a category imo. We adults spend hours increasing skills which in practice are really not fun at all. I often debate doing them anymore myself but alas something keeps pushing me... most likely a personal flaw which makes me so dang persistant so much so that i must finish what I start.

The problem is the rare items compared to the rest is increased which does not constitute the items you neccessarily want. I don't know where clues lay in the thick of things but If i don't have a clue... I will get one in the next few drops. Really iritates me.

Exactly, - that is what is known as chance with replacement in mathematics. Each and every draw you have the same exact probability. The odds of picking the number 50 from a pull of numbers ranging 1 to 50,000 is the same every time you pick it... with such a probablity model the chances of actually picking that changes very little with each draw.

I bury most bones below dragon bones... dragon and above I only use the ectofunctus. I never bury other peoples bones and always bury big bones .... up to dragon but when it cones to regular bones if I have the time I bury them if not I don't make the time to do it.

This was my worst rs day... August, 16th I had nearly all full verac... I needed the skirt, so then I found someone selling and bought it that morning. :P So then I go back to what I was doing... burning shades. When I burn shades I high alch my goodies from the chests. So then I was in the middle of high alching a mith pl8. I lagged a bit and must have clicked a few times - result? I put on the mith pl8 oooo wait where's my brassard? Well looks like I've about 80k more gp then before the lag - soooo obviously I high alched my brassard. :cry: Dang-it, lets go to the bank get some cash to buy a new one... hmmm, only 1.2 mill cash on hand... guess i could work but dang-it I want it now :x I guess I'll sell this 1k of bloods to tintet - he always needs bloods... cool 700k for them :) Well, still need to come up with another 1.3 mill plus I need to leave some money here to live off of. :cry: I hate to do it but i'll trade my d skirt and some cash for it :? but I'll really miss that skirt :cry: So then I find a seller and buy a brassard for my d skirt and 1.1 mill. :P later that day.... Off to fight kq... 15 kills and things are going well. Then all of a sudden on 32th trip ... LAGGGGGGG! oh my gosh re-connect already! No connection ARRRRGGGHHHH! :x Computer reset. So then when I do finally get logged back on - I find myself in Lumby and missing my V helm :( among other items.

Works well for barrows as well as shade burning.

If you look that account up it's a skill pure practically... my guess is mage is a bit better and his friends got him finished on the shilo quest.

Good it keeps some of the weirdos busy :wink: I am a girl and I've often considered turning my character male because so many boys (and/or men who've not grown up yet) ask me out or harrass me. Luckily for them I'm not easily offended, it is afterall a game. While I flirt a little occassionaly - with rs male friends i've known for a long time - I do not have an rs bf... I mean that's really wierd if you ask me, see no point in it. I had guys offer me things to be thier gf before but that creeps me out... besides I do things on my own merit. My typical answer is to tell them "If you want a gf then get off the computer and go get one".

Well, I was wondering where the "Sara's" were. Guess they retired. Zammy mages ... only purpose they serve is to occupy you for a few seconds while the pk'r standing a few squares off the mini-map has a chance to ready himself for his ambush on you. Sara mages - also simple just pot an anti-poison and turn on prot from magic before you dig... basically served no purpose at all except to use your anti-poison and a few fish possibly. Either of them were worth any decent xp at that too... and if lucky may have got a nat drop or some other runes.

Like slayer pies? or whatever they're called? Anyway, I think thier main focus being on cooking lately is that the shark being staple means tons of thier developement efforts go to waste. As a software engineer I know the feeling. Problem is food in this game until now served one purpose - healing hit points. However, the new approach they seem to be taking as a stat enhancement and greater healing properties also has it's detriments. How will it affect herblore, etc... ? Point being people resorted to fish because it was easy, usefull and the xp gained quicker than other routes. If for some reason the time requirements compared between catching a shark and cooking it vs gathering ingredients for something else and cooking it and the xp ratio between the two reversed I see no way other avenues of cooking will be useful.

Magic is the WORST way to attack a KQ . The only way to kill a KQ propperly is to melee with veracs the first form, take distance and range the second form. This will take inventory space. But my brother *122* can do this. He kills 1 KQ a trip. FYI, Ice Barrage Ownz her Beetle Form, ask Muggiwhplar :wink: Really? I thought she was immune to mage and range in that form just as she's immune to melee in her second form (unless you're using verac special).

Sorry for my misinterpretation. Well I had always considered myself a skill builder... there are certain things to consider though. For instance, fishing and cooking, sure I build them, but as I think about it I hardly ever sold a fish - really only ever when in dire need of cash - why? Because I use fish as food... to melee more. Fact is as you have me thinking about this most everything I do is so I can continue slaying and fighting... I'm a terrible merchant and most my income comes from my wc and fletching because it's hard to make money slaying and fighting - face it monster drops per what you use to get a good one render it non-profitable most the time - and of course I wanted a whip and verac and other tools which I could not have unless I found an alternative income to fund my lust for blood :wink:

I don't know where you get the idea total plus combat /2 will yield you the percentage you're looking for. First you have to take out your combat from your total to work it out. It's easier just to take my combat xp = 22,741,050 and then divide that by my total xp = 49,113,455 and get a dividen of 0.463030956 As you can see close to half of my xp is combat stats... if I counted slayer as combat it would be 0.495357596 Needless to say I don't really need a percentage to tell me I'm melee heavy... you basically know you are when most your higher level stats are in melee :wink: Also here's something interesting my average level is only 77.57142857 and here all along I thought I was doing well :wink:

I solo her... have soloed her 58 times really not a lot when you think about it but... it's a long tough fight. Typically I withdraw after the 1st form and make a second trip. Now then verac works well on the first form and is quite suficient on the second also. Reason being her immunities are similar to prayer or armour bonus. Now to be sure... many times the cost(resources) to drop ratio for the kq would not be worth it unless you happened to get a d chain... also d chain is not a common drop, I've known people who have fought her well over 200 times - either alone or in teams - without a d chain drop. Many of her more common drops are like: an ammy of power, 19 blood runes, 3k cash, 600 fire runes,75 nature runes, Addy spear, 19 blood runes So... You may ask why do I bother fighting her? "Hopes of d chain?" ... nah, although d chain would be nice I fight her because I can.

Really not that far from bank... to die from poison between ectofunctus and the bank u must be really panicing. The elf crystal tele - is also an uninterupted tele - What uninterupted means is you do not have to select a destination or click on a continue option. The Lletya tele is even closer to the bank if you wish to use it.

I went with a really low level friend (lvl 65 cb) who was doing dt to the shadow diamond boss' cave as protection from the skeletons and dogs and to retrieve and belongings should he pass-on ... my main function was to distract skeletons and dogs so he had the boss to himself... he did a duck and dodge sidestep with a dds to take down the boss. It took him 20 minutes to kill the boss... I had a load of shark with me and a sup set I gained a strength level while there and when I looked and compared to my xp before I went in ... found I had gained 28kxp in that time.

You can't do the legends prereq one either as dragon slayer is required for that. But then again if I had designed it I would disallow you even wearing the gloves since they are armour of some type. I also think that the work around pures use for DT and MM should have been cut off.

i did also wanded to sell my spirit tree seed on my noob for 1mil+ I had heard from a mod... You can only ever get one - ever! You lose it well it's gone. You never get it again. I got mine way before farming was released... when they first introduced seeds. I was woodcutting and a tree spirit attacked me and dropped it. At that time I had no clue what type of seed it was... but it's connected to your account much as a cyrtal seed is. You do know it grows a spirit tree for teleportation.
