I quite agree, if the triangle is unbalanced the biggest side of it is magic already. They can change strategy and attacks at the drop of a hat... tele-block, ice barages, entangle along with high powered missle spells, they have the upper hand... ... to top it all off many of them are undeserving of the power as unlike melee or range we don't have to fight to get levels (and spells), at level 55 they can high alch and tele our way into being a devastating opponent, unlike melee or range where we have to actually do combat to get there. What Jagex should do is separate the magic into schools and thus require you practice with missle type magic and such to actually be able to use it.

I don't believe you need DT to use the smokey well... Anyway, those who used prayer, I don't believe parayer has any effect on Damis - he hits right through it and drains it. It would seem like a waste of prayer pots or stat restore if you brought them. When I did it I just took a dds and did a side-step after I led him in the cave entrance, I think he only hit me twices with those claws of his.

Slayer drops - and really I assume most drops - are quriky these days... I do not think it's just the abbys. last week on assignments: Over 600 specters - no mystic not even a lava staff, over 800 gargoyles - no mystic tops or addy boots then all of a sudden this week - 4 mystic boots , 3 mystic hats, 4 mystic bottoms and a mystic top, eight addy boots.... and to top it off I've hardly done any regular slayer monsters the this week - dang Duradel has some [specialInterest] going for black demons and greaters. What I'm really noticing is when I'm getting good drops ... they keep dropping, but when I'm getting bad drops it's a constant.

I don't know how many people know this, but the internet comerce comes under federal laws... ever since the assca complained, the laws structuring arround the internet fall under interstate comerce. Problem, the laws not only provide for civil action by the plantiff for an unfortold amount of estimated damages - an average of total loss - which can be focused on every single defendent in any lawsuit, ie.) remember the college student sued for $2 million a few years ago? It also holds those companies allowing such illegal actitiveties responsible for such actions. ie.) Ebay (or others) where such activity may be present - beit even your isp's - due to providing pop/smtp - are also held liable. What I'm saying here is Jagex can sue not only the perpetraitors of such act - for an estimate of damages of the whole - but also those who supply the means - ie. Ebay anf others. They can thus command Ebay and ISP's to present any information on such activites they deem inappropriate.

Yes I was only there a short time so got 16 nests (had 8 mole kills but nvr more than one skin on the kill, have gotten a lot of yews and a hat)... they have seeds in them too. im gonan go an hour a day till i get a spirit seed, heres what im up to 89 nests from wyson: 6 EMPTY 16 RINGS the rest gave me: 136 potatoe 51 cabbage 44 onion 48 tomatoe 10 limpwurt root 2 ranarr seeds 26 sweetcorn 18 strawberry 12 watermelon 2 acorn Cool, for me the nest would probably be worth it alone, although I cannot make sara pots yet - and long way off - I've been saving those nest I've got since the pot was introduced. Toadflax is a common seed drop from most slayer monsters - so up to my ears in it. Out of those seeds the limpwurt, ranarr, watermelon and acorns only pose an interest to me... If I were a die-hard cook then maybe the sweetcorn too. Farming for me is mainly herbs, trees, bushes and special items. The mole seems to drop some usefull stuff - the 500 yews I got will be fine for burning shades. The chef hat little use and the mith items I got were high alch fodder.

Actually, people under-estimate the specials of Torag and Karil... both serve much the same feature. Your opponent running ability is affected. So especially in Khails ranging has good effect since they cannot run for long.

Oh, btw... I often wondered if you had a full inventory of digsite explosives, if some poor unsuspecting, ill-informed, gulible pure would pick it up by accident and then drop it. But i suspect it doesn't show up being made of quest items?

for those of you who don't know how this works, I think I figured it out, but it takes a while to set up. You have to do monkey madness, at least up to were you have to bust one out of the zoo. Go to the zoo in ardougne Turn into a monkey Talk to the monkey minder to get in the monkey cage Talk to a monkey to get him into your pack Turn back into a person Talk to monkey minder to get out of cage Put the monkey in the bank Repeat 27 times Withdrawal all the monkeys and go into wilderness. they wont turn into monkeys when u die. they lay on the ground with the monkey face. which is infact no-trade. edit: you have to DROP them to turn them into monkey Ok, I didnt think it worked earler. Still if I were fighting someone and they started dropping monkeys I may lose the fight just from laughing so hard :wink:

Rule of thumb... If it drops ash it's most likely a demon. Also you'll find holy water affects them - as with all demons - least I thought I tried that before... although I never tested darklight or silverlight against them.

I've 3 red, 1 blue and 2 green. I don't know how often they occur but I do know I get a lot of nests... least I've 137 saved up since they introduced sara pots. Before that point I used to get a lot more nest but I used to throw them away back then.

Some guy offered me 200k for a page(g)... made him take it down to 50k. Anyway, I never let anyone overpay me... I don't feel right about myself if I did. Besides, when someone overpays you and finds out latter I'm sure they remember that, may even remember you. I had a friend one time selling ores a while ago... and the buyer accidentally put up 1.5mill instead of 150k - she took it and then told me all about it as if some great feat she accomplished. To me what she did is the same as scaming someone.

Both mine are pretty close together in the bank (shark and pots)... I'd most likely eat first though as pots are a slight bit slower.

This is easy :wink: Verac of course - I like to kq hunt. (although slayer is my fav skill) I'd like Guthan again for training slayer though. Among the melee sets those two are the best imo... course with range and mage you only have a single choice for each there. I have Verac and have owned it longer than any other two sets (Dharak, Guthan) I've had in the past. So I'm probably a bit bias...

Mind you is was just down there last night for a short while there were 'bout a dozen people. Some level 91 was wearing full Dharak, and there was a cannon in the room too, but whoever owned it removed it after the second mole. I just potted a sup set used a whip and verac armour and took eight kills out of the twelve moles I stayed for... and I think that was mainly because I could run a lot longer than the others and arrived at the mole when he come out of the ground again before others. Just my opinion.

It sounds like an really busy month for me coming up if the quest is really that long... quests are my favorite part of the game. The Morytania updates also sound interesting... this new village I assume will be southeast of Dessous gravesite? Canoes very fun if like the desert carpets - my favorite transportation to watch - but they should allow them on most all rivers. Now additional teak and Mohagany sounds like they're gearing up for some use for them besides burning.

My friend coffebean got one from a drop - was with him... anyway I tried it out potted with super set (pushed all my stat's above 100) at kalphites really interesting - way well over 100 total hits. If I had one I would use it as a switch weapon along with my whip or flail. Then let the spec recharge given time used on the other weapons.

I believe in caps. Fact is I find it funny that people would bother to hoard so much gp... If they feel the game is bout money let 'em be but personally I think the best thing Jagex could do is limit it. I think they should put weight on a gp... put weight on all items so it affects agility, I also think it should be a drain on your strength and your hits - thus "Encumberment!". I don't think your bank should be able to hold 80 tons of gp for you either... maybe if they had thought of that early on then many player made item values would be more realistic in ratio.

There seems to be less randomness if you ask me... They are dropping things although it does seem less frequent compared to the numbers killed lately. Two specter assignments (400 total) -- 2 lava staves and 3 rune fulls - no mystic. Infernal mage assignment (136 total) -- two mystic boots and hat Back demons (199 total) -- always bad droppers one rune chain Bloodvelds (184 total) -- one pair black boots.

Wow, my favorite skill is also slayer... Anyway, Favorite thing though would have to be solving new quests as the come out. Least favorite thing is probably the high emphasis on money people tend to have.

It's pretty random... I remember the 1st time i killed a few bloodveld (can drop 3-30) I walked away with 300 bloods. Some monsters are obviously better blood rune droppers and if that's what you're after you should harvest them :wink:
