You're speaking about a ton of xp. A cb lvl of 125 is realized at 99 for all mele stats and a prayer of 90. A heck of a lot of dragon and ancient bones at ectofuntus... if your melee stats are all 99 you need a prayer of 98 for 126 cb. Just from 97 to 98 is 1,112,977xp - to get there off dragon bones alone you'd have to grind and worship with 3865 bones. The total number of dragon bones needed from 90 prayer - the low end of CB 125 - to 98 prayer is 11,535 at ectofunctus.

I'd get some more barrows sets... Guth and maybe Karil or Ahrim, a few more dup weapons - I like place holders in the bank - and maybe full dragon to lounge in;-) Use a little bit to build some skills up... But most probably, throw some party's at pete's without letting people know it was me sponcering them.

I feel like quiten rs i lost eveyrthing
bflat0 replied to electro_dude's topic in General Discussion
I have a friend (she's 12 years old) - She got hacked on xmas eve... lost her whip and what dragon she had - they cleaned her out.... got a new whip, got hacked, got a whip and new dragon, got hacked - Three times! Even though she swept her computer everytime for key-loggers and spyware. Anyway, while bummed she never mentioned once about quiting. Point being everyone loses something sometime. I know noone who has not lost what seemed like some extravagant amount or expensive item at the time to them. Just make your money back, it's that simple. -
European format is typically day/month/century+year.

Let me think... considering my account is almost a year old and while I did not work exclussively on skills all year, I'd say 200mill seems like a lot of xp - like 4 years worth if I followed status quo.

Master Slayer Guide by Axe Man Jack (AOW) Updated 9/06
bflat0 replied to bigmoneyak's topic in General Guides
I really like your guide... while I had figured out much on my own and come to the same conclusions, I still found a few tips I had not thought of, Thank You. -
You all make the assumption it will magically yield overwehlming results... reality is it's most likely equivalent to a wealth ring. To be honest when farming I never take secatuers with me anyway... you only need them to prune trees with.

will the 99 stat be the limit for all skills PERMANENTLY?
bflat0 replied to adunakhor's topic in General Discussion
That's exactly right. I'm a software engineer and those quantifiers are used in a lot of places... IMO, The 99 stat limit is here to stay as everything in the game would have to be reworked for the higher limits... monsters, hit probablities, ore rates, log rates, etc... Your asking for a redesign in not only combat system but all systems.... if they just added levels then they have to clean the slates so to speak or If they write conversion of some sort the people at the top would be in the same boat... This for one reason is why Jagex keeps adding new skills, new areas, new quests and updates... to keep higher level people returning. -
Ok, months ago - early August - I had almost a full set of verac - less skirt - and it, along with a d skirt was the only good melee armour I owned, also had plans to start visiting kw regularly. It was a saturday, I found a v skirt for 800k - a decent buy at the time. I was in the middle of burning shades the night before so after buying the skirt put it on and went to continue burning shades - using up my silver keys I was high-alching my rewards from the chests when all of a sudden lag... should have known better and rebooted and switched world but I kept trying to high-alch. Result? I accidentally put on a mith pl8 and high-alched my brassard - at that time worth 3.2 mill... they yield bout 80k. Reboot and log into another world... no more lag. So then my bank account was pretty low - 1 mill gp - ended up selling the 1k of bloods I had to a friend for 700k was going to wc/fletching/high-alch for rest but traded my d-skirt and cash for a new brassard... just could not wait, was bummed and impatient. So then full Verac once again - thank goodness... finished using silver keys but extremely cautious high alching. Put whip in bank picked up v helm and flail, pots... off to KQ I went 12 KQ kills and wouldn't you know it in the 13th trip - very unlucky - rs controls no repsonse - arrrrggghhh, I could not move or pot or eat - All I could do was watch me slowly die. To discconect or shut off the machine would mean instant death - what is worse? So then lost the v Helm...

Ghost speak ammy - juat as you needed when you did the nature spirit quest. yes i already know that... i already had a new question.. where is that tanglefoot :? It's in a cave down by the cosmic alter ... a guard lets you right in. Protect from melee and he never touches you - easy kill. I just finished the quest myself - 198qp - all quests done once again. WOOT! Good luck but you won't need it, quest is as easy as the last one.

ok thx i just talked to all of the allotment farmers.. and the one in Falador, the tree farmer and its good now thanks, maybe i'll ask more :) I think it just takes five farmers as I talked to the 4 allotment farmers plus the one at the hops patch above seers because he was close when I got done with Dantaera (the cath allotment famer). That was enough info to send me back to the master farmer in draynor.

I've 196qp - Had them all done until this morning's update... So I have "A fairy tale part I" and will do it tonight when I come home from work. I never use a guide, like to figure things out on my own, makes for a lot of running around with getting items but I hate to spoil solving a puzzle and such. -

Red vines in the woods to the west of seers to be more precise Mcgruber woods -
I've used the blast furnace a few times and have not done the math but the selling and buying back of ores there is just another drawback to the the process... much the same as loss of ess was to making nats before abyss. Now assuming you get a crew I would suppose they are also doing the same with thier ores and organizing such is also a disadvantage as managing a team is not the easiest of tasks. Also when the bars are done you have to run them clear across town unless someone knows another way to get them to the bank?

Now speaking from my own experience I tend to agree with the first post. My smithing is pretty low and for good reason ... thier's no real money in it at my level compared to what i can make on other skills in the same time frame. Smithing is only of the harder skills to level in comparison to others. Takes a lot less time to fletch, fish or herblore yourself into making money - you see results much quicker there. Yet the delema I have is how do I raise smithing at a reasonable level without taking too much loss until rune. Cannonballs do sell well and can yield a little profit and there is always a market for the consumable products - arrowhead, knives etc... but still hard to find buyers. To be perfectly honest i hate to mine a few k of coal and mith or steel and smelt it and make something ... putting in all that time and effort only to have to spend hours in world 2 or 1 trying to find a buyer for the items. Forums yeild just as much confusion... and to cut to chase I can cut logs, fletch, rc nats and alch the money in half the time it takes to mine and smith and sell a smithed product. My past two smithing levels were made by switching my gauntlets from cooking into gold smithing gauntlets for the 56.2xp ea bar gave - compared to rune at 50xp. Now naturally you may think but you can turn a bar of anything else into some item for more smith xp... however, I think I can smelt gold bars faster than I can smelt steel, mith or addy - where I need coal. Also while I used superheat in mines for making mith before I would never waste my nat on a steel bar... and I make my own nats - that's just crazy waste of money. Ever since level 55 mage nats are best for high alch - that's it. Maybe when I get to making rune bars I may consider putting a 300gp nat into it. Now sure someone who mines and smiths rune can make a good profit in a reasonable time but at lower levels it does not compare to fletching, fishing or any of the other skills... more time is needed to yield the same profits at those levels.

Thieving is overlooked but i do know some 80 level thieves who can haul off 180k of gp and goods in an hour.

your views will crubmle! like the berlin wall. your DAM right. fm is so useless, too bad they cant make something Worth it.. it was probably something they added in just for another skill :o!!! i dont see a point in that skill, i mean it has so called "uses" but...splitbark is the most useful related peice to the firemaking skill. I think a lot of people consider firemaking lame... however i've been trying to increase mine so i can burn magic pyres. Shades are probably the best thing firemaking requires - can make 250k off 100 nats there easy. I think a lot of people look at farming as a lame skill ... did wonders for my herblore though and many high level pots require farmed ingredients. RC is a boring skill to train too... while I train many skils i have to admit most of them are quite boring to work up- most the time it's quite a bit of work rather than fun... and to be truthful many times i wonder why I keep logging back on - I think if it were not for Jagex constantly updating the game I would have cancelled my account a long time ago because even the combat system is mundane and child like.
-
No they are not, I tried to show someone what they look like once. Ectotokens are also untradeable - player to player - makes complete sense that they are too since they are also a quest item. You may buy yeast with them from the guy at the brewery in the port... and someone had told me you can buy bolt-racks with them, but all I know the samuri will take is gp. a note on trading sticks... The more tribal you wear the better the local natives pay you when doing jungle clean-up. Full tribal with topaz macheti and brrodoo shield will get you 1000 sticks at 100 favor.

The effect of chaos elemental on pking in the FUTURE
bflat0 replied to silver24-7's topic in General Discussion
It was suppose to be good for training axes there... PKr's hang there a lot though now. There is also a lvl3 clue spot behind it - I've got that coordinate a lot - makes me go cross-eyed keeping one eye on the mini-map and one on the sextant in that spot especially. -
All I know is my friend got a d2h on the first one we attacked when we went.
-
Mind you even I can hit 30's decked out in helm boots, ammy and obby and potted but the number I gave is basic at 99 str... no bonus's for ammy's, boot's, helms or pots etc. = max of 26 - it's baseline. A Whip attacks every 2.2 seconds.
-
Now I don't keep a lot of money around, but I have some nice stuff - whip, barrows armours, crystal , dragon and obby included - I only keep enough money arround - 2 to 3 mill - to pay the expenses and should I need a high ticket item, then I work a bit for it. Used to be back on f2p I thought a mill as being a lot of money... over there I mined coal and sold bars for most my cash. - that takes a lot of time. In p2p a mill is not a lot of money in terms of time. It's easy to make 250k or possibly more in an hour or so - making a mill in a day is not really difficult if you do some preparation first. Two and a half days worth of work is pretty cheap for a whip. The new full rune? You only need a 40 def for full rune while you need a 70 stat to use a whip - mid level people - the more people with that the more people will be wielding it's plain and simple it's the weapon of choice and for good reason. Compared to any other weapon it has them beat for most tasks. Thus demand is high - always has been. Well as more people hit 85 slayer the more whips come into supply from the drops. Everything comes down in price due to a rise in supply.

That's a known bug... If u have auto retaliate on in a multi-combat zone and get attacked by multiple players - You'll hit back and get skulled, behaves differently outside multi-combat zones. I remember the 1st time I encountered that I was level 17 on my first day in rs and thinking "Hey, that's not suppose to happen?"
