The disproportions in the bodies of the people can be explained by bad use of reference. The head was resized from a slightly bigger pic, with more proof due to some black pixels are missing in the head's outline. My suggestion would be to look up a screenshot of a RS character and use it as a reference, and you could focus less on copying details and more on making a proportionate shape.
