Oh and i was just wondering...have u ever tried to do a decent pixel sig at least once ? Try to make something that won't be flamed by every1...You'll see how hard it is...and maybe respect paint much more.

i think you're missing the point. if i spent 6 hours trying to draw a picture using 3 different crayons, would it look better than what i could draw in 1 hour with a full set of colored pencils? no, the crayon drawing would look silly in comparison. i don't care how you make it, the results are what matter.

try taking pixels sigs to a board that has never seen them before (not blinded by the trend) and see the reaction.

go play with your crayons :D

You miss the point here instead. A good crayon drawer can of course draw in an easier teqnique like pencils while you using pencils...drawing in crayon will never get something that's not silly if u don't train at it...

Limepie perhaps it's you who is missing the point. Pixel signatures can have as many colors as any signature. They just allow the finest of details because of the very way they are made.

Although there is a rather large amount of "pointless" pixel signatures, especially the ones made by Jeppoz have a point and usually a relatively humouros one! They are a joy to see. Abstract signatures are on the other hand by nature....erm...abstract...and have no inner meaning or point to themselves. "To create a nice render, mess around and see what looks cool". That's not art, that's luck. Art is to have some idea what you are creating, not just plain havoc on the canvas.

IMHO.

And to sinister...stolen picture (?) on mediocre BG and a font with no extra work.. wow...BEST sig ever!

I don't create pixel sigs, but i certainly wont consider my sigs a matter of luck. Most my sigs are indeed abstract, and takes a deal to make stuff look nice. I've known my progress, form when i was an uber n33b...trust me it is not luck, there is skill to everything you do. There are many types of skills and many different measures of each.

He was talking about the renders...

oh....i knew that

Pixel sigs can be better than photoshop sigs because of the detail that can be put in it. But again, photoshop can make pixel sigs also...

Thanks - Again.

Pixels sigs take a lot more work then regular sigs. You have to fill up a whole screen pixel by pixel. I admit there are a lot of bad pixel sigs out there. But there is also a lot of good ones too! You have no right to flame

The guy apologized....i think this is rpetty straight forward...respect pixel sigs....cna a Mod please close

You can't compare a paint sig to a photoshop sig. They are two completely different programs that do completely different jobs. They are also completely different styles. It al ldepends on your tatse. Personally, I think Pixel Sigs take much more time, patience, and talent that photoshop sigs. Anyway, form your own opinion.

And, sigs made with MS Paint can sometimes be better than Photoshop sigs.

Have you seen the RS images? Their pictures of items?

i.e. staff_fire.png

That kind of detail cannot be done with what we call "Photoshop sigs".

Those pictures are made pixel-by-pixel. Does that make them worse than any Photoshop pictures? I don't think so.

Sure, Photoshop can be easier to use than MS Paint. Sure, someone who's good with MS Paint can be better with Photoshop. But in the end, pictures that are painstakingly drawn pixel-by-pixel are better than any photoshop render.

btw, when I say Photoshop sigs, I do NOT mean pixel sigs drawn in photoshop.
