Best character and kart in Mario Kart DS

Featured Replies

Will anyone suggest which character and kart I should use when playing against my friends on Nintendo Wifi.

I have all karts and characters.

Thanks

If I remember correctly, in these types of games each character has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the one you should pick depends on your individual playing style. Usually, there's no "best" character.

kk thanks. I like to use toad in egg 1 because he is very light and very quick.

Toad in the mushmellow is the choice for me, it has great acceleration.

Anyway, i'd be up for an online game, my friend code is 236285341407.

Mini Mario and Mini Luigi!!!!!

I like donkeykong in the tank because of the weight keeps me on the track and I can still snake.

Good cars for snaking r yoshi's egg and the vaccuum.

I personally prefer Yoshis cucumber kart, as it has great acceleration, decent speed, and full item bonus, which means you get alot more good items, which can make or break a race.

Same here. I always end up using Yoshi in Mario Kart games...

Unfortunately I don't have a DS, so I haven't really played the game that much. I'll be picking it up when the DS Lite comes out.

Toad or Yoshi <3. Always have always will :).

R.O.B. in anything.

Online it seems most people use that dry bones guy, but only because he's the best at doing those stringed repeated powerslides called snaking. It's really annoying since it becomes a race over who can snake the best (pushing left-right-left-right-left-right) really fast, and most people who use dry bones use him because he's the best for doing that. So if you technically want the best, go with him. That's if you're able to snake. And if you don't want to have fun.

But other than that, I'd go with any of the faster racers. Weight isn't factored online, but I think acceleration is. So I'd go with any fast racers like yoshi or toad or bones.

Ya I hate people who use snaking. It ruins the game. Well I got owned by computer players when I was on rainbow road with toad in the egg because I am so light while everyone else is heavy.

Yoshi, Toad and maybe Dry Bones I will train with then.

i like yoshi and his egg on wifi because it is fast and has good drift. Its wieght mayb poor but on wifi i find wieght dont count 4 much :)

i like the cucumber car also

I find better control with medium karts, better to powerslide on rainbow road.
