Prologue

This is no ordinary story. This story evolves, shapes itself, bends the will of its creator. This story has no limits. Welcome to Scape! The following is a brief history of scape, and an explanation and description of the world. Pay close attention, as the following information could prove to be more valuable than you expect.

There are many races and species on Scape, the world of which you read. Although it would take years to list them all, a list of the four major species has been compiled.

Humans: Humans are the dominant race on scape. Humans are adaptive, intelligent creatures, although they trust too much their instinct.

Elves: Elves are slightly shorter than humans, and infinitely more beautiful. With elves, and unlike most other races, the women are more likely to be involved in combat or trade, while the men have a tendency to stay home. Elves live long lives; about four times that of the average human.

Dwarfs: Dwarfs are short beings, but the strongest species, for their size. Dwarfs live short lives, but make up for it by working constantly, without tiring, even into old age.

Shades: Shades are rare beings, and live secretive lives. Around since the beginning of time, shades know much, but will only reveal it to the few they call their friends. Shades are compassionate creatures, and only fight when required. However, when needed, a shade is an effective mage, knowing many ancient spells and Magicks.

There are many different regions and provinces in Scape. Each region has its own inhabitants, ruler, and resources. The region of one̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s birth is the most important thing in a person̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s life.

Kandarin: Home to people with the magicks at heart, kandarin is a quiet place, covered mainly by vast forests. The capital of the region, ardougne city, is the confirmed home of one shade. Kandarin is widely known for its exports of fish and marble.

Asgarnia: Asgarnia is the most heavily populated region in Scape. Asgarnia is the rumoured home of one Shade, and the confirmed home of two more. Asgarnia is mainly known for its heavy imports of fish and luxuries.

Misthalin: Misthalin is a region slightly smaller than Asgarnia, Misthalin is home to two provinces: the Varokian province, and the Al-Kherid province. The rumoured home of the Mysterious Old Man, this region is famous for Tutorial Academy, located on Tutorial Island, controversy the most well known place in Scape.

Karamja: Karamja is a desolate, deserted island. Save Brimhaven, a pirate village, Shilo Village, now overrun by undead monsters, the only inhabitants of this island are in a few small encampments.

From what you've got so far, I can tell it's going to be a great read! Good job, Blipo. By the way, great description of Red. It was exactly like I had envisioned him to be!

Cool, I'm considering posting a character on your other thread. The only thing I don't like about your story is the portrayal (spelling?) of dwarves. I guess I'm just too used to the D&D idea of them. (long life-spans averaging between 100 and 300 years, and primary trait being extreme loyalty to the clan at least partially based off of their long memories).

Pm me if you need anything proof-read, I may not be very good, but I am always willing to help.

A Seal Clubber is me!

A Oxygenarin is me!

I like what you wrote on Helna Blipo but her FATHER lost the family's money not the mother, but if you want it like that it's ok.

How many chapters till you start the main story instead of introducing the characters? Wait, I guess that depends on how many main characters there are. Never mind.

Well, there are five main "heros" - they're the first five chapters. Then there'll be another five chapters, each from the point of a different character, describing how they're all brought together... Can't say much more about that.

Then, I'll be introducing a bunch of secondary characters; they'll come in at different points in the story.
