March 24, 200620 yr I'd just like to point out that privately owned buisnesses, i.e website do not follow the same rule many keep blandering on about. Freedom of Press does not effect these private buisnesses (Tip.It)-It's a federal law. Unless I am mistaken, this rebutes over 20 people's argument, therefore I rest my case. Hmm, last time i checked, newspapers are private businesses and they have the right of freedom of press...Unless when i was asleep The New York Times became government run...
March 24, 200620 yr I never got to read the baised banning arcticle so if possible could i have a link or some tell me what it was about or something? And if they can,t repost it on forum or site could you email it to me at [email protected] thanks. Barrow Drops: Guthan's Helm, Karil's Crossbow.5 Pieces of the Crystal Key so far. I would never consider meeting people irl. Not just because of risks that they could be a 40 year old man who is only interested in the bottom half of your body.

We can't prevent an individual user from sending you a copy if he/she has one, but do not ask the Tip.It staff to send it to you or post it in the forums. I'm sorry, but we pulled the article for a reason, and posting it in the forums or sending a copy to anyone that asks kind of defeats the purpose. Remember, the SEARCH button is your friend. Use it!
March 25, 200620 yr All I can say is that the post was true, about certain people eing banned and others not. WHY DID U REMOVE IT! Jagex cant do crap to rune tips, not sueing for freedom of speech, all I can say is STICK IT TO THE MAN! I love ruenscape, but some of the popel workign there are quiet DUMB! And rune tips is a great site, but you shouldent back down on somthing so [developmentally delayed]ed! :!: All I can say is, fight the power, question athority, and know your rights! March 27, 200620 yr I believe the article was justified and not legally actionable. Tipit had the opportunity to stand its ground, and it didn't. That's okay, really. Either identity is valid--the serious stand-alone voice for and of fans and players, or the unofficial companion site. Tipit chose to act, in my opinion, like a broken-spirited child whincing at its father's raised hand. It's a great source of information and tremendous aid to anyone who enjoys the game. It's obviously just not the place to go for a serious discussion (if there's any chance it might offend anyone associated with mighty jagex). Having said that, I'll still have tipit in my second and third browser windows every time I play! :D BTW--on a completely unrelated subject--Did you know it's possible to view a recently removed page by googling the title (or a key phrase such as the title of an article) and then clicking on "cache"? Then, if you thought the article or page was worthy of saving, you could keep it for your own personal reference and enjoyment! Uh-oh! Google better get rid of that cache, before they get sued! I wonder if the page was ever viewable from China. And plus also, I think the only reasonable solution for inappropriate names in the game is for jagex to allow users to change account names either in extreme cases only, or for a premium--the way players are allowed to change the appearance and even the gender of their characters in-game. There could be a census official with forms to be filled out in triplicate and delivered to far-flung beaurocrats! Hooray!
April 7, 200620 yr Will someone tell me whats in that article?? is it some area 51 top secret that the FBI will barge into your house if u just post a link or something?? One question tip.it how can we post a thread if we dont know whats it about?? Either keep a link to the article somewhere or else dont post a forum of a banned article that half the users havent read! It looks like you trying to justify the your actions from user opinions,do i sense some guiult somewhere??
April 8, 200620 yr he can't sue tip.it lol. they have a right to post factual information on their website. Jagex cries too much lol, they should spend more time making the game better instead of threating people with lawyers.. etc If they stopped banning people for no apparent reason this wouldn't be happening, so it is really their own fault.

Thats like a criminal saying oh ya I robbed that person please put me in jail. You really think a multi-million dollar corporation has nothing better to do than ban people for no reason, pull your head out of your....
