Don't pures not do quests anyway? Stop whining. Pures aren't going to get overpowered. The whole point of strong items that aren't able to be obtained as drops or players, is to do the quests for them.

i think its alright that pures cant get gloves the +12 str bonus is like 3-4 extra hits on your max and a pure with 90 str can max 28's(maybe wrong) with dagger specials with what str bonuses they can get and with the +12 str would probs bring it upto like 31-32 and i think 4 lots of 28's coming at you around 75cb is enough to kill someone easily, no offence to pures :D but with the mith gloves its an extra hit on your max so its still good

Yes, this has bothered me a lot. We cannot do lumbridge guide because of 2k defense from nature spirt. We cannot do sir amik because hero's and d slayer give def. We cannot do awoegwi because we cannot return to ape atoll without talking to daero.

 

 

 

Unless jagex fixes this we can only have mith gloves. Now impures can get 13 str that we cannot.

 

 

 

6 for dark gloves

 

3 for berserker helms

 

5 for obby shields

 

 

 

Dark gloves give 12 ;)

 

 

 

but pures are able to get gloves of +6 str.... (12 - 6 = 6 :lol: )

I see no problem with pures not being able to do this quest. Jagex should not have to take into account the fact that some players choose not train a skill. So I consider the fact that pures will never be able to wear dark gloves the cost of having a pure char.

 

 

 

This is about as silly as a "quest pure" char with zero quest points complaining about not being able to use a d-long :roll:

I am 90 strength and I top out at 29 dag...so i'd imagine itd be around 32 spec....which is amazing. I dont know about getting the 195 quest points though. Thatll take weeks.

You can't do the legends prereq one either as dragon slayer is required for that. But then again if I had designed it I would disallow you even wearing the gloves since they are armour of some type.

 

 

 

I also think that the work around pures use for DT and MM should have been cut off.

1 Def pure can not do the one that requires Legends (Lumby ? Guy), or the one that requires nature spirit. Not sure if it works if you haven't done MM yet, probably wont work.

That's why in the end, Ladies and Gentlemen, the pures always lose. 8)

 

 

 

Sorry for being harsh...but did you honestly expect to be able to wear such a great item as a pure? Pures aren't meant to get them. End of Story. C'est la vie.
