Annoying things that CAN be changed

Featured Replies

I think it is in jagex capability to do these things, and it would help us out ALOT.

+ More organised bank accounts! (Proper post on it here: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=351049 )

+ In-trade chat screen, below the items that you are trading and above the accept / decline buttons should be a small window that allows you to chat to the person you are trading too.

+ More uses for the firemaking skill

Firemaking- JaGeX can spice things up a bit by implementing demolition weapons which would require different levels of firemaking for different levels of damage capability. These weapons should be constructed in ways of bombs, timed-grenades, short-range mine fields, etc. This would really be fun to use in the wilderness, even though it's downfalls could be deadly. Thanks for the post Shadd!

+ More exciting ways to train thieving

I consider getting a bunch of mates to go and stage a bank robbery, as a fun way to train theiving, but whatever. You may disagree. Nice idea! That would be awesome.

Who agrees?

My additions to your opening statement:

i think jagex can do alot about those skill's

Try elaborating on your ideas further. "More fun ways to train theiving" means nothing. How about a few specific ideas?

I like the chat in trade window option, it's so annoying trying to buy/sell something on world 1...

I really want the first two, then the last two. Since asking for skill improvments might be too much for Jagex...

I WNT BETTER BANK!!!! :D

Hehe, blowing up the KQ's lair on her, then running in to pick up the pieces :).

Raichase, quit Runescape.

Time issues really, nothing against the game itself. Something had to go, and it happened to be the addictive game that costs money to enjoy :)

Best of luck to all of my friends here!

Hehe, nice ideas guys, ive added them to the top post. Hope you dont mind, want more ideas.. Also, do you think Jagex will act upon any of these requests?

I'd like to see somewhat of a team thieving venture, much like the bank suggestion - but with evasion and agility prominent. You remember the mansion you have to invade in Rat Catchers? The same idea. You have to break in, evade or neutralize the guards (no killing), and escape with your loot. Something like a tomb raider would be fun as well. Think Indiana Jones - you need to be able to fight when you're stuck, have smarts to solve puzzles, be agile enough to dodge traps, and lightfingered to snatch the enchanted ruby of doom.

For firemaking, explosives or primitive projectile weapons would be nice. You could have something similar to a musket that takes firemaking levels to actually use. After all, this isn't a medieval game.

Honestly, firemaking should figure more prominently into quests. I'd love to see a quest with a 80 firemaking requirement to finish it completely, where you have to use a magic pyre log to free some spirit from torment.

mini-game bank robbery pl0x????

maybe a quest when u get 100k gp.......

something like oceans eleven, but with the wise old man, you, and some other mad kooks

No way, hose. Thats right, hose. Like, a fire hose.

Banks, yes. We can handle them, but organisation would be a plus.

In trade chat, good idea, but even an 'add friend' of the person you're trading with could benefit much.

Bombs for rs would be far too lame. Instead, why not have a potion (herblore update, pl0x?) that you can douse your weapon with, and then light it on fire for a certain amount of combat time (Barrows degrade rate) The bonus would work somewhat like poison, but only on a per hit basis. Better the oil, higher the fm level to light.

Theiving, I dunno. Teamwork in rs is for noobs. Organization would be a challenge, and bank heists? Would you rob actual players banks? Or just get some geepees?
