Astucio Posted April 2, 2006 Share Posted April 2, 2006 I think this was nothing more than an insult to the greatness Peter Sellers began and should have ended the Pink Panther series with. First off all, and no offence to any Americans, I'm sure you all know it's true anyway, but British films are always of better quality than American ones. With America, it's all about money and if it's comedy, it's all in your face, blatant childish comedy with no sarcasm or irony. The old films may not have been outwardly funny (and only in very few places were they not might I add), but it actually had quality and intelligence. Putting a ridiculous moustache on Steve Martin and asking him to live up to the comedy genius of Peter Sellers is absolutely ridiculous.
