I've had some great memories and some bad memories. To start this off I will go ahead and name some of my good and bad memories.

 

 

 

 

 

- When some guy name "The Sid" (my friend now) told me If I got him 100 cow hides he would make me full iron with a 2-hander. I got him 100 cow hides ( I didn't know what cowhides were at the time), after getting 100 cow hides he gave me full iron, it was great!

 

 

 

- My first account ever was "Nike2sports", I remember first being scammed by some girl, lost my account more then 4 years.

 

 

 

- I remember when rune cost so much to get. I remember a girl quit and gave me almost full rune. Then lost it that next day.

 

 

 

- When you never saw peoples combat levels into the wilderness.

 

 

 

- Trying to complte "Dragon Slayer", but could never kill them. Then I finally conquered him.

 

 

 

- Reaching 70 mining.

 

 

 

 

 

There are many other good and bad memories to type. Let's hear yours.

My all-time bad memory on Runescape (Hoping that there isn't more yet to come) was when I lost over 13mil+ of cash and a rare item (Santa Hat) my first day as a member. Which was kind of depriving since I've had it for the few good month I was F2P and all of a sudden I lose it once I upgrade. :|

 

 

 

But that was last month, this is a new beginning. :D

-Ok ill tell you some bad stuff

 

 

 

1.)Getting lag and getting killed by pkers

 

2.)Getting lag and getting killed by random event

 

3.)Getting lag and not being able to take death runes from a monster drop

 

4.)Wondering whenever you kill a shade they never drop their top or bottom robe

 

 

 

-Some good stuff

 

 

 

1.)Wait for a noob to get killed by a barbarian and take their money

 

2.)Whacking noobs with rubber chicken

 

3.)I have all zombie clothes and one of the emotions

Taking lower leveled peoples cash, when they die is lower than low I must say.

 

 

 

And to make this on topic, five days ago I lost 1.5m cash, when I got owned by a watchman, while I was afk.

I remember when I first completed Dragon Slayer at level 58 combat, I had just killed Elvarg. I gained two combat levels, reaching 60, and a souple of other levels. At that time I had no idea of skill experience ( :lol: ) and I never knew that was how we determined our combat levels :oops:

 

 

 

Also, I died for the very first time to a zammy wine scammer. The seocnd time I lost full mithril armour at the black wizard circle. It's scary, I adamantly remember this level 70-something there at the circle. I PMed her so urgently when I had died, then she logged out. I think she logged for real because she left when I returned. Then like a eyar later I see her name on the private chat messages in a metal dragon slaying guide on RuneHQ :shock: Her name was LadyRune or something...forgot :x

 

 

 

Anyway when I got back to the circle I harassesd this guy who got my stuff. I eventually tailed him to the downstairs of west Varrock bank and he had traded me for free a mithril helmet and some other stuff, then declined on the second page realizing I had given him nothing.

I remember buying my first red h'ween for 6m....then losing it a week later to a tree spirit, then I remember buying a second for 15m...still got it...lol.

Good: Selling a full black armour to a noob for 1mill...true story...what a noob :lol: :lol: :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

Bad: Losing a pot of flour :cry: :cry: oh I miss my pot

Good memories:

 

 

 

- Reaching 60 Mining by powermining Iron from level 50. (Ouch! My wrist hurts -_-)

 

 

 

- Offering to buy planks at 500 ea in order to finish the Dragon Slayer quest. A low-level friend whom I met for the first time taught me the "3-item only rule", took me into the Wilderness for planks. However, I got PKed on the way. When I logged back, he sent me a private message said: "I got planks for you". So warm. Finally, I paid him for those planks.

 

 

 

- After long noobish trying from ropes, threads, and silk, finally understanding that to "string" an amulet, you need a ball of wool!

 

 

 

- Getting my first set of full rune and 70K GP earned by Gold Mining in 1 day... Before that, I knew nothing about "selling things in bulk" and the "street price", and just wasted all my hardwork in the General Stores (Tears!). Good to learn!

 

 

 

- Becoming the mine-lord whenever I want more iron, always 1 hit! This is really cool.

 

 

 

- Becoming the nightmare and slaughterer of Dark Wizards when I train my Range. Those wizards at Varrock Circle killed me at least 3 times when I was in full iron, full steel... (I was so conceited and dedicated to challenge them again and again!)

 

 

 

- Training Mage at Varrock Sewers, killing Zombies with Crumble Undead. Always saving those half-dying poor noobs chased by zombies, and seeing those yellow "Ty" flashing above their head. ^O^

 

 

 

- This is the most recent one. Although I threw away my first 4 zombie pieces in 1 day (I thought they wear ugly and useless), I finally got full zombie and both new emotes within the next 3 days! And now, I kept the mask, definitely the 2 emotes, but again, got rid of the 4 pieces.

 

 

 

Bad memories: Not much... Just 3 occasions related to trading:

 

 

 

- I fell into a "20K or 2K" scam. I was really careless. Good lesson with a cost of 18K, not too bad. Feel sorry for that cheap scammer though.

 

 

 

- Without knowing anything about the Price Guide or the Street Price, I offered my price to buy full addy and power ammy. The price I offered was 150% or 200% higher than the average rate, I got tailed, and obviously some people was calling me a scammer! (Maybe they bought those stuff while I was offering to buy, just for selling it to me to make a profit... However, all I needed was 1 set!)

 

 

 

- I was so desperate to buy a Rune Woodcutting Axe, I logged on World 1 after minutes of trying, offered 20K at the beginning, then 25K, then 30K... Still, nobody is sending a trade offer! I was so frustrated, and gave it a shot at 50K! After a couple of minutes, I realized that my Trade Button was on "Friends"! I switched back, and finally got my Rune Woodcutting Axe at 50K. (I was tired of switching out World 1, and I don't want to look capricious, so I just stick to 50K)

-When i was a newb i made 1k mind and air runes. I then walked past the wild and ended up dieing to a pure.

 

Btw it took me 3 hours to make those runes. And as with most newb's, they are relatively impatient. So that ticked me off since i worked real hard to get them. :evil:

 

-Lagging out while in battle and trying to login but says "username already logged in...try again in 60sec...". Lost a few sets of rune from that :cry:

Good Stuff:

 

Becoming a player mod

 

Earning my first mil

 

Defeating Elvarg

 

Luring annoying noobs that follow me around asking "did you create runescape" into various higher leveled creatures

 

 

 

Bad Stuff:

 

Being scammed out of my full mith and full black with the armour trimming scam (it was a long time ago :( )

 

Lag

 

Annoying noobs that run away from aforementioned higher leveled creature, thus not dropping their nooby items for me to loot

 

Getting 550, not 600 each for my steel bars

A lot of memories man. 2 yrs ... and over.

 

 

 

Started first acc: datheovem

 

 

 

got hacked 3 months later. Lost 100+k ( it was super precious to me then. )

 

 

 

Started 2nd acc: mystikboy

 

 

 

got hacked 1 wk later. Lost 300+k ( this is worse. i tink the hacker was a "close"real life friend. but he doesn't admit )

 

 

 

Started 3rd acc: microtosh ( current main )

 

 

 

7 mths later, accumulated 3 red party hats. sold them for 1 white party hat. sold the white party hat for cash 3 wks later. Died in wild with full mime. Nvr got any mime random ever since. Lost 10+ mill when i died. Not much cash left, abt 19 mill. splundered it away. Bought whip for 12 mill.

 

 

 

2 mths later. whip dropped to 5 mill. Started merchanting and found out that i was a lousy merchanter. Lost 3+ mill in merchanting.

 

 

 

1 mth later, whip to 4 mill. party hats rose to 40+ mill. god. i sold my white for 26 mill then. felt like killing myself.

 

 

 

2 wks later, left member for good. sold all stuff. got mask set. trained to lvl 81 fishin and woodcutting. Got 5 mill cash. That's the end of my story.

 

 

 

Well, you can just say that im a ch00b. yea, high lvl n00bie. my best time was when i trained and killed 20+k white knights non-stop in wk castle, fally.

Well... I have been playing for just 6 months so I don't have that much of a much to tell about, but here goes.

 

BEST: When I tricked a NOOB into giving me a fire staff, an anti dragon shield, and an amulet of power in exchange for full steel thinking that it was a bargain. Best part was that he had a much stronger friend who lended it to him for the day ! :twisted:

 

WORST: When I got tricked into taking the wine of zammorak and getting killed with 7k that I found in goblin village. :evil:

good- dieing ,thinking about quiting, play runescape for last time ( or so i thought) then getting out of lumby seeing a lvl 20 die and i get his 689k lava battlestaff & loads of runes & blue wizard gloves!

Having only ever gotten one rune med from lesser demons

 

Being killed with full mith (lol)

Bad: Dying to watchguard while thieving while looking on forums and losing my phat but telling my friend where I died. He went and got it and woudlnt give it back. Yep, I quit ruenscape for 2 months.

heh, I remember buying 2 r2h for a mil and find that it depreciates to 300k later. not that it mattered cuz someone stole my account and took my money. the first time I bought adam plate for 40k rune legs came out, and someone scammed it away... then it depreciates to like 10k or whatever. I remember when I finally got to lvl 70 mining they come out with minning guild and change the way of minning that makes it way easier. I remember selling diamonds for 10 coins only to find that it is worth 10k back in da good ol days. when I bought rune large it costed a mil... now it cost what? 30k? I can't believe that after so many house cleaning by thiefs I still have a reasonable amount of wealth(lost me party hat and mask, but got a santa hat:)... if only someone would buy them with real wealth lol.

My worst experience was way back when i was f2p in full addy in Karajma doing some exploring. Then I found out first hand what poison does and died.

Best: Wooo!!! Selling 300 yews for 150k!!!

 

 

 

Worst: Full mithril...And going into Draynor and getting killed by the Count Draynor - lost 10k :(

My best memory of Runescape:

 

 

 

- The day I created my first RS account. (I still got it :) )

 

 

 

- When I completed Dragon Slayer quest. (When i killed the dragon I had only 3 hitpoints left! Lucky)

 

 

 

- The day my best friend started playing Runescape (Good times... he quit from Runescape 1 year ago...)

 

 

 

 

 

And now my bad memories:

 

 

 

- When I started playing Runescape, most of my friends laughed and said that RS is a stupid game. (It's not true!)

 

 

 

- When I lost my Addy Platelegs, Addy Kite and 5 Strenght potions in the wilderness.

Best memory ever was when i was noob of around level 15, i was in Varrock on the west side with those aboden houses near the potion guy (cant spell the proper term).

 

 

 

Anyway, i was all alone, and on the road i saw 12k, a mith helm and sapphire ammy! Just lieing there, no sign of anyone dieing, so who would of dropped that?

 

 

 

Now i realise it was proably a drop trade between accoutns that wnet wrong the person, for i ended up picking it up :)
