I had a slayer assignment of 159 hellhounds to kill and not 1 drop a level 3 scroll...

 

 

 

what other monster has a better drop rate and how long do level scrolls take to find the item?

 

 

 

Also, I'd like to know whats your favorite item that you had receive from these scrolls?

Too bad you didn't get one, they are the most populair npc to get scrolls from.

 

 

 

Also, elves gave me a few scrolls..

 

 

 

They take a while to do, and are almost all in wildy somewhere..

Try postng this in the "Clues, clues, clues" forum instead. :D

Um try ranging greater demons at greater cage in orge city. Bring telegrab runes to pick up the clue/rune large drops; they seem to drop clues somewhat regularly. Also read this so you know other monsters that drop lvl 3 clues:

its just random if u get 1 or not i got one after killing 7

Jellies and Hellhounds work best for me i got 6 clues yesterday 2 from hellhounds and 4 from jellies.

I think part of my problem was, i happen to have a level 1 scroll in my bank!!!! i didnt notice it til i try to clean up my bank....

Yup you can only have 1 clue at a time, good luck getting a clue.

You just had really bad luck, I had the exact same assignment with 159 hellhounds and got 3 lvl 3 clues from them about a week ago (got pked doing one of them :x ). If you stick with them the law of averages should start producing some clues for you.

Didn't realised that Jellies drop level 3 scrolls as well.

 

 

 

I got an assignment to kill around 150 Turoths over the weekend and got 3 level 3 scrolls (my first 3 ever). So I presume they drop the scrolls regularly.

Also check the sticky above, Best Place to "harvest" clues lvl 1, 2, and 3. Everybody has their own opinion of which monsters drop the most.

 

 

 

For me Blue Dragon's were the best. Jellies, Turoths and Kurasks were always good droppers of level 3 clue scrolls.

 

 

 

It's random. Sometimes 6 Blue Dragons and a clue others time 300 before getting a clue.

I was just starting my Jellies slayertasks and I met a guy who said he was already there for 30 minutes hunting for a clue, and I kill 2 of them, and I get one.. So it's all about luck!
