tefda
Keep 1 defence and then build up your attack up to 40 and then go as high as you can for strength. Then you have your Pker. Tip.it is supposedly going to be making a guide for building a pker and contemplating several different strategies and methods of pking. So until then that's all the advice I can offer you. StyxSniper
I recommend chossing either melee range or mage depending on what you think is cooler/ what you prefer. For mage, get your magic level as high as possible, with 60 magic, youll be lvl 29, 80 38/39 (using tip.its calulator). Same with range. For melee, Get like 40(f2p) or 60(p2p) attack and then as high as possible strength. Mage armor just where wizard robe and respective colored robe skirt (clothes shop in varrock). Range, wear green d hide legs and vambs and leather body or something. Melee use iron armor. As for pking tactics.... if you're a mage try binding foe then maging, if ranger try hit and run tactics, melee sit in low lvl wilderness near varrock and let others attack you, melee them and maybe use strength potions (from herb guy in varrock or herblore members)
aznmidget448
For the lower levels, i find that mages with nothing else (hp of course...) own build up a skill to buy the runes... ranging is also good... 40 atk and lots of str is also a nice pker... I personally like defense pures, heehee. It makes the enemy really mad, but you really can't do anything... with 1 atk and str...

Doomster
For a melee based PKer, if you use smithing as your supporting skill, 5 defence and full steel may also work quite well, though it's good only if you can smith full steel, so losing it doesn't matter. 1 extra combat level, but considerably stronger defence, stands up far better in PvE encounters, but beware of mages - if you want to melee a mage (player or dark wizard), then use your ranger gear (preferably), your mage gear, but no metal armour. Chain, square and med helm are not quite as negative to mage as plate, kite and full, so a chain, square and med kit, with dragonhide trimmings is a fair compromise.
