but i think the back end of the dragon looks kinda of odd and so does the head...and i don't get the trees in the middle of the water underneath the dragon there. But yah just my opinion

ive seen trees grow out of the water in florida on vacation so they do exist :P ill try to work on the head and body a lil when i get some tips on making it look more 3d.

Prob my fav work of yours, Ice. A few gripes though. (WOuld look MUCH better, IMHO)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Color choices. The BG color choices are so BLEH. The dragon is nice, but then it's all downhill.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Perspective. Your persective is way off in the BG. They don't look plausible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To make it more 3d.. try picking a light source and shading as you should. I'll toy with your dragon a bit for an example.

Decided to show you something simpler. This is pixel shading.. freeform style as it looks like you do more of.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There are more technical styles with perfect pixel patterned shading.

maybe if you try shading the bottom right of the dragon, and side of the dragon since the sun is coming for the top left

 

 

 

but also i noticed that the pier you have in the water and that concrete like walkway there looks really flat and has a perspective problem, try angleling them upwards but the shack looks good along with the hills.

 

 

 

And the sky looks odd, dunno what to do on that.

When I first looked at the picture i saw a mountain (a red one) with some reads on it :S. Then I read what you posted and relized it was a dragon. Now all I can see it the dragon :(.

The head of the dragon doesn't look too good. Also for the pier, try adding some swirling water around the posts.

I was about to tell you to remove the stone path cause umm... it through of the perspective on the sig. but i like it so far.

Great pics, but I know the anatomy of a dragon is complicated. The wings look cool but are reversed: the main arm section (where the smaller "fingers" branch off of) is in the back of the wing, when it should be at the front. Keep up the good work.

That last one is looking hot. The BG colors still need some work!

I liked them both, very cool and not your style but very good. I like it alot. Keep with it.

Make the left wing look more like the right wing. The shading isn't so good.
