Hi, and welcome to the official *noobs and newbs!* guide.

 

Ill start off saying that everyone started as a newb but some magically change into a noob I will explain how this is done. I will also explain how to tell the difference between a noob and a newb. You will also learn how to deal with a noob in a nice attitude.

Yup, people still don't understand. To call a level 3 a noob just for not knowing where to find Varrock is just wrong.

The reason people confuse these terms is because "noob" refers to any level character who is simply and idiot and knows little-to-nothing about the game.

 

Newbs, of course, know little about the game. When they ask seemingly obvious questions like "where is falador?" when they are in Falador, people call them noobs, not stopping to think about why you would be aware of what town you are in. There are no signs after all...and newbies generally don't use the map.

 

 

 

It seems that no matter what level you are, if you don't know every little detail of the game, you are deemed the title of noob.

 

 

 

Ya know... if we started taking the title "noob" proudly, it might turn things around completely. People would no longer fear the "noob-name-calling", thought people would soon find a new word :P It'd be fun to try though
