April 14, 200620 yr Everyone knows Black Demons as a good drop of d meds (not too comon though) and that they drop various rune items After killing 5 i got (without ring of wealth): Rune Chain Body Coins x 40 Mith Kite Tarromin Addy Bar More coins So has anyone actually got multiple d meds easily here and is it actually good or would greater demons as your oppinion be better Mod please move this if you think this as help and advise
April 14, 200620 yr depends what level you are, they are probably ok for drops if you have about 70+ ranged or full guthan or a lot of prayer pots. I'm not drunk! You wouldn't dare call me drunk if i was sober!

April 14, 200620 yr I normally leave each trip with about 3 rune chains. I use prayer and a cannon to kill them. When on slayer it is amazing exp, well worth doing.
April 14, 200620 yr Great cannon and guthans experience for slayer. If you're there for drops you got another thing coming though. I seen someone get a DLH there but still pretty rare. Do them for slayer, otherwise stick to easier monsters. Now go make me some blueberry pancakes. April 14, 200620 yr In my experience, black demons are not something you kill for trying to get good drops...I spent many nights there ranging them for hours and i rarely got anything decent. Black demons are good exp, but are stingy with drops i'd say. Fire giants are a better bet for getting a dragon med or whatever.

April 14, 200620 yr Author Ok i'm down to 100 arrows from 500 and this is my loot not too great but could alch chains for some spare coins :roll: Edit: I have now run out of arrows and here is my loot high alched all the items except for the ranar and token and got 72k
April 14, 200620 yr I actualy find them good for training strength with my dragon halberd, nice slayer xp to. I must've killed 400 so far, but no dragon med, only 2 rune chains. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.

April 14, 200620 yr 150 greaters for slayer = 3 rune helms per trip. 150 fire giants for slayer = 3 rune scimmys per trip. 150 Black Demons = 3 rune chains per trip. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Rune chain Alchs for 30k Scimmy alchs for 20-25k i think rune med helms 11k, full helms 18k Blk demons are best there but longer trip though
April 14, 200620 yr I have the worst luck with rune med drops, i have killed about 500 of them, 1 d med, 10 rune chains, no rune med, same thing for lessers i have never gotten a rune med drop, i think that if you hally or use iron arrows/knives you will make a profit

April 14, 200620 yr Like it was said.. Good slayer XP but for drops they blow.... With Firegiants you get loads of fires and also Rune arrows (To my quiver please) with Prayer XP to boot.. So if you get for slayer.. go for it.. don't buthrope.. If your going for XP, well you could, if your going for loot... Firegiants or Get 65 slayer and goto Dusty's @ - Come Join SoDB in Some GWD and other Slaying! - @
