he seems to be really bendable, you should straiting him/her out. The coloring is good though.

Its nice but I dont think anyone would hold a sword upwards from that low on their body. It'd usually be hanging loosely in their hand.

The shape of the head is weird but that isnt a big problem. For a background maybe have like a bar or something (I dont know.. haha)

He needs to be more Angular. 8)

PS: Who's that in your siggy?

Yea, doesn't look like how a person actually is.

You mirrored your sig :? I can't handle it

He looks either drunk or like a ragdoll in armor.

YOu talking about my current sig with the girl in it? lol cause it thought you were talking about the pixel one... yeah I redid the background, brushing and got rid of the line work except for the bar code which now will be on all my sigs that are abstract or have brushing like this one. Oh and Zim thats my girlfriend. Speaking of which I gotta go pick her up from work.

Theres the new one... i "straightened him out" so tell me now what you think? Also any ideas for a setting?

Your updated version is a lot better then your last. The sword is held in a more runescapy way (..?) and the guy looks a lot more stable like hes able to stand up now or you made the armour lighter ;).

he looks like a chick thats flirting with some one... mayb that'll help u understand. but anyways the pic is really nice

Well I feel that if I add to much straightness to his body he'll look like a friggin stiff board so i'll leave him the way he is.

I tried to give you some of my ideas as to where the lines should be.

I also shrunk it like 100k.

You have to many red lines there... i'm confused zim... good job... now i've gone [developmentally delayed]ed....

The character looks too stiff. I think zimlem made an good outline to show how it should look. The arms should be bigger,

I go with the ppl suggesting u redesign the poor guy cause he looks like frozen or something like that. I'd personaly give a slighty bolder look compared to the lines Zim made for you, but that's personal taste only.

Another hint...Don't go on the shading or on the detail before all your screen is set. If you work element by element you'll be realy free to draw what's in your mind for the first character only. The next ones and the scenery will only try to fill the spaces...and that personaly takes away half of the emotional impression coming from a sig. First of all focus on what the final result will be.. Then try to make a linework with 50% or less of the final detail to see how the screen is set...

I personaly use something like 2-10 mins to do this phase...mainly cause i start drawing only when i realy have an idea to develop...not by tries. Here's an example (sig i never started so feel free to use/develop it if u want to).

Once you'r satisfied with the overall look/impression, u can start adding whatever u want to it (colors, details, surplus stuff).

Remember u can't work on pixel art the same way u work with renders and photoshop...u need a totaly different method else your results will always lack of something.

Keep it up :)

Pretty much sums it up.

Although you've got to keep your own style, so mess with it until you feel good about it.
