...and I'm addicted to PKing.

 

 

 

Last Friday I was bored, had nothing to do so I go to world 2 and sell all my stuff that's worth anything. Had 29M and a santa hat. Decided to buy 50k chaos and 200k fires and get 94 magic on steel dragons. I had some money left over so I decided I might aswell put it into rare items, so I bought another 2 Santa Hats.

 

 

 

At this point I had 52k chaos (7.8M), 210k fires(4.2M), 3 santa hats(22.5M) and had 2M left over, Totalling 36.5M

 

 

 

Maged steels for a bit (About 4k chaos) got a skirt. So I went to server 2 to sell it. After doing some clues I had from steels and getting some rares I Had about 4M left. Decide to go buy a whip and PK! Bought a whip for 3M, some sharks and some prayer pots. And went pking, killed a few people for some rune, and died once. I ran out of supplies and had no money, So I decide to sell one of my santa Hats. 7.3M, I buy 200 prayer pots 1.4M, 1kish sharks 1.2M, Obsidian set, 900k. That's 3.5M, almost half of the cash I had. Went back to server 18 and pked some more, was basicly breaking even, killing someone and then dying and losing the stuff I pked. It was 10PM, my anti virus was about to do a scan so I decide to pack it in for the night and start again the next day.

 

 

 

So yesterday I wake up, and do some pking, died almost straight away and lost an obsidian set + rune due to a PJing mage, Buy the obsidian set back for 900k. I then decide I need some recoil rings, so I buy 200 for 400k. Decided to stop for the morning, plus the footy was about to start so I went to watch it.

 

 

 

Came back on that afternoon, and world 18 was full, try a few times and get in. Lagging loads on high detail so I switch to low detail for the first time ever, it seemed to work and there was no lag. So I head into the wilderness and fight a few people, not killing any but not being killed either. I then see a 114, he attacks me. We fight for about 10 seconds, then he kos me with a decent combo, oh well that's about 1.2M down the drain. I go back up, seeing as it was my last rune set and this time bring range, I seemed to lsat longer, but couldn't hit. Got koed again, not too bad wasn't skulled anyway. Then I come back AGAIN, this time as a mage. While I was walking to him I got 3 hit by dagger specials ugh... So I come back one more time this time with whip, rune legs, dragonhide plate and warrior helm, no shield. I can't see what anyones doing (They're all standing there like in world 2 fally) never had this before while pking. I guess I could get used to it. I accedently attacked a 4 iteming dharok noob, fought him and almost koed him. I go to bank to restock on food and pots and head back out and start fighting someone else. We fought for a few minutes, and people started crowding round us. This and the fact I couldn't tell what the person was doing was making it near to impossible to fight. I'm doing fine though, keeping my HP at around 40-50 and hitting away, then all of a sudden I see two hits on me, 22 25. BAM I'm dead, didn't even notice him switching to dagger. At this point, being annoyed at dying 4 times in the space of 10 minutes I decide to stop pking...

 

 

 

I've calulated how much I have now compared to how much I had to start with.

 

 

 

Before PKing: 39.5M

 

After PKing: 32M

 

 

 

Ouch, 7.5M lost in a space of a few in game hours. Actualy, not all of that is lost becuase I have about 100 sharks and 100 prayer pots left, but that's about 800k, still a 6.5M loss.

 

 

 

I need to find a way to stop pking, I know it's costing me loads, but I still can't stop myself from going back for more.

 

 

 

Oh well, back to steel dragons I go...

Why stop? its just a game and its supposed to be fun, so what if you lose money? its not the end of the world, i say keep pking and having fun even if you lose money 8)

It's a game, Enjoy yourself. I couldnt care less what my bank has in it as long as i'm having fun :)

I don't think you should pk for a while...

Enjoy the game, get friends to pk wth you.

 

If you dont enjoy the game, don't play the game and come back later.

I like how you don't whine about getting pjed, but my suggestion is don't pk in world 18, there are too much eating lag going on there. I usually pk at 6, 9, and sometimes 2, doesn't lag at 6/9.

 

 

 

Still 32 mil left... have fun with the game. :)

 

 

 

What I usually do is if I lose more than 300k+, I earn 300k back before doing anything else, that way my cash'll pretty much stay or go up at anytime.

 

 

 

Edit; Just saw your sig, all I can say is try pking with range gear and x bow+mage short.

Limit your number of rune sets a night you want to lose :D?

My advice to anyone don't w18 pk, i know how tempting it is with so many people their, but 9 times out of 10 you get a kill you'll be pjed, always choose a world which isn't laggy and not too busy and you should find it alot more easier to pk might take longer to find people to kill but its worth it, or take up a skill which doesnt require much attention browse forums and just bank or whatever you need to do every now and then and keep yourself logged in

but only lost 2 obby shields but i used tons of supplies..

Everytime you lose earn it back another way. Once you hit your mark feel free to continue pking. A word of advice though, if you get owned by somebody... DON'T go back for seconds... or thirds... etc. Take the loss and move on to greener pastures... that you can turn red with your opponent's blood. :D

Well, u can always kill some kalph queens and go up to 5-digit millions =)

That's why you run to the Falador/Lumbridge bank (whichever one you spawn at) and grab a Glory Ammy, teleport back up and grab your cape ;)

you should keep pking, its only a game, but i quit after i made 15m cash and full drag then got hacked, i was only lvl 85 so i wasnt much of a pker, i might start up again sometime soon, but for now im stuck to the tip.it forums

Anyway, I went pking again last night, And got KOed :P

 

 

 

Searched server 6, 9 and 12 found no one so I went to 18 and died within a few minutes.

 

 

 

Down to 500k cash now, enough for one more rune set :P
