Skills Before a Member

Ok, here are my skills and in about a month Im gonig to become a member:

 

 

 

 

I was just wondering what skills I should get up while I wait to get my membership. I was going to get my Range up to 40 but I don't know what else to get up.

 

Any thoughts?

Yours stats are already a good base to build on.

 

My only suggestions would be to work on runecrafting (44 for nats is a great moneymaker) and prayer.

 

43 Prayer is useful for anyone, especially as members have much higher lvl monsters, particularly in quests. You will use it a lot more than you would in F2P (I only use for random events.) Get burying! :wink:

good stats, umm like you said range, prayer and magic (magic is useful when teleporting around members)

Here are some stats that i think that you should get.

 

Combat Related

 

60 Att | 60 Def | 60 Str | 50-60 Ranged | 45 Prayer | 60 Magic

 

 

 

Other Skills

 

44 Runecrafting | 50 Crafting | 75 Woodcutting

 

 

 

Im pretty sure that you can achive these stats before you get p2p.

i made a huge mistake of becoming a member at the very beegging lvl 3 nd it meant i couldnt use half the members benefits to begin with so yes ranger armour is great so get like 50 or 60 ranged mage is useful to tele around. for making muney 75 wcin to sell mages on the forums here is a massive profit and runecrafting is also gr8 muney making

I was lvl 23 when I became a member and enjoyed it.

all skills to AT LEAST 45. i started with all skills fairly newby (except prayer - was highest stat when i was first member :shock: ), and it took me ages to get into the swing of things

I agree with what's said above, however, you might also wanna consider how much easier to level everything in p2p, especially prayer.

 

 

 

I'll suggest level your combat (especially magic) skills a bit, rc, and finish that last few quests. The most important thing I can suggest is start reading up guides and familiarize yourself with the P2P world ASAP, as well as lay out a plan for yourself on what you should work on. Finally, prepare for yourself quite a bit of raw materials -- logs, feathers, ores, bars, arrows, ess, etc.

I think definitely get your runecrafting to 44 for the natures.

 

Prayer is also much more useful P2P, so get that up to say 45.

 

I think fishing also you might want to get up high. Very useful :arrow: Catherby :)

 

 

 

Also good advice is to look at some of the skill guides for members and look to get some items ready for those skill e.g. feathers for fletching.

51 magic is a MUST because you'll be able to teleport everywhere you want. Nice stats otherwise.

K alright. Im getting my RC to 44 right now and then going to get magic to 50. Ive also now got 40 range which Im gonig to get up to 50.

44 runecrafting = easy money

 

even out melle stats = just do it cause your gona do it some time

 

cut willows = get you fleching up quick when you get to willow bow level

 

maybe fish a bit more so you can get fish quicker in members world

 

also get stuff to make some arrows for 4 range maybe

 

 

 

just some ideas i would do
