last night, i was in the taverly dungeon for some water orb charging.

 

 

 

As I was making my way throught the blue drags, i witched screens for the map to go to the water column (or whatever its name is). When i switch bach, my health bars is dangerously red, and a black demon just give me the final blow...

 

 

 

I FORGOT TO TURN ON PRAYER!!!!

However! There was a lone fisherman at lava eels who must have seen thids unfortunate/stupid event, and I hope he's a tip.itter, and also nice enough to give it back? I couldn't get his name from the screen...

 

 

 

I'm not asking for free stuff to anyone, I just would like to get "my" legs and glory back!! I COULD afford some new ones, I'm not that poor, but hey, I thought to give it a try.

 

 

 

Every (kind) offer for replacement I appreciate, but will be turned down, as it was my own fault I died (dam stupid of me....)

Sorry for your loss but a Lost and Found thread would be pretty cool, lol. I hate it when somebody obviously lags and dies when they were being polite (not stealing my kills in multi etc.) but not talking. Twice I have raided death piles and waited/teled to lumby/fally to find the nice person to no avail. They only lost about 20k and 30k but it was probably a lot to them. :(

Correct item(s), correct time, correct location, correct world, and, most importantly, not being a jerk. :lol: It would be pretty hard to fake it and if somebody got caught posting fake garbage they could be added to a list of liars that would be stickied at the top (i.e. LOST MA CANNON WHEN SETTIN IT UP IN SLAYUR TOWAH!!!1!11!!!) Would be a slim chance of recovery but still better than nothing if both players were extremely friendly. :wink:

thats not as bad as what happened to me even tho what happened to me wasnt a big deal but i had just finished desert treasure other day and i was happily ancienting at barrows and was amazed at how easy it was to own them but then im watching dharok at almost completely red bar dieing and suddenly i get a little lag and i get the connected pop up that says it cant connect to server so i re log in real quick and in my inven was ancient staff and mystic top and bottom

 

 

 

but at least i only lost like 300k and im happy i dont note my ppot and that i tele to llyeta and then tele to canifis

ya i always speak like that cause im used to talking on aim on computers so i shorten words a lot

 

 

 

but last part was me saying im happy i dont do what some people do which is they bring lots of noted prayer potions and noted sharks and then sell to general store to unnote them so if i did that i would have lost way more money

sorry for your loss dude but this is really unlikely that someone from tip it picked up your stuff.

geese you lost what about 120k and you make a post asking if someone got it -.-. there's no point! the guy probably isn't a tip.iter if he is he probably wont give it back as he was fishing for lava eels (probably about lvl 70 or sumat so i doubt hed give it) and also you must be a really low level to have to use prayer on black demons........

Yes but those people have higher stats then him maybe too, To a guy with no more than 40 in evry stat 100k is alot, 80+ in every stat its small change.

Something like that happened to me. I was crafting natures using the general store method when I got poisoned. The game lagged for only a little bit but when I could move again, my health was already half gone. By the time I got to the general store, I didn't have enough health to buy and drink an anti-poison. My losses were: 70K in gold, 800 essence, and 200 natures. I never got it back, but then, about a week later, I was killing rock crabs. I switched worlds and right when I entered the world, a guy died in front of me. I got a fully charged glory, a lava battle staff, 83 law runes, 173 fire runes, a dark mystic body, and dark mystic gloves. I would have given it back but I didn't know his name and I didn't have the right runes to teleport to Lumby. I would've walked down to Seers to get runes and tele but I didn't think he would be there anymore. I just looked at it as a sort of "what comes around goes around" kind of thing. The items I got came pretty close, if not more, than the amount I lost a week earlier.

 

 

 

More on-topic: A lost and found Section would be wonderful. The only downside is that the chances of a Tip.It member finding another Tip.It member's stuff are very low. But still, at least a lost and found section would give us hope. Maybe they could have a lost and found section on the official RS forums. I mean, there are a lot of nice people out there who need their stuff back and there are a lot of nice poeple who come across a person's stuff.

i recommend usin world 9 for homeworld because then if die more likely then not if someone gets they possibly will be tip it because after all it is tip it homeworld
