1. Ability to zoom out and view the entire war

 

2. Completely [cabbage] all over every other RTS waypoint/patrol system.

 

3. Units and weapons fire independently via simulation. Weapons do not "insta hit".

 

4. Unbelievably scale. Battleships are truly epic, and massive experimental units are awesome.

 

5. Land, sea, and air, plus blendings of the three.

I wonder how you would be able to micromanage all the different things going on at once, hopefully the UI is fluid. I also the AI is more intelligent then all the other RTS games.

IIRC, makers of Supreme Commander are the same people who made Total Annihilation.

Looks great but seems it's gonna be hard to keep track of every single battle in the entire map if you focus too long on only one battle.

I thought that. I think the most interesting part of development is how they handle that problem.
