May 27, 200620 yr Ok so 3 months ago I decide to attempt barrows I kill the 5 brothers in their mounds nicely and go onto karil who is in the tunnel. I go into the tunnel and since my computer is really really dark for some reason I cant find my way around and eventually tele. So the other day I got on a friends computer and went into the tunnel killed Karil went to chest and opened. Is it a barrows item? Nope. Is it a D med? Nope. Half key? Nope. Any runes? Nope. Coins? Nope. It was only 35 bolt racks. Sorry I have no pic to prove but maybe time does matter on your barrows reward. So remember there is always a worse drop than what you've been getting.

May 27, 200620 yr you would have got runes aswell, getting a drop is quite rare. the worst for me was 2650 gp only lol, i must have screwed something up :? 35x200 = 7k so u got better than me :wink: "A disbelief in magic can force some poor souls into believing in authority and business"
May 27, 200620 yr On the options in the game you can change the brightness so it'll be brighter. And having no runes is kind of weird... maybe it... forgot your kc after the 3 months somehow :? Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. May 27, 200620 yr Author Im not complaining i was just merely stating if you think your getting bad stuff at barrows there is always worse stuff. Im mighty fine with what I got. Also it could be it reset my barrows then I went back there and by chance got karil as my tunnel again, making me only kill him. But nonethless i got 15-20 kill count, and don't worry i was not expecting an item.
May 27, 200620 yr i've done about 30 trips... gotten 1 item (x-bow). during one of my trips.. i got nothing. thats right... no coins, no bolt racks....zip. i only killed the 6 brothers.... so maybe really bad luck? Needless to say, i was pissed. I skill. If you skill you should join.
May 27, 200620 yr Whine off perhaps? IMO 55 trips without items and frst item was an ahrims staff is abit worse than that. Although 71st trip was a torags plate.

May 27, 200620 yr I've done hundreds of trips and you always get a set group of items. I believe that the absolute worse possible reward (provided that you kill all 6 brothers) that you can recieve is from 2k-6k gp. I have never recieved lower than 5k when the reward was ONLY gp but have heard many others say that they have. I would bet that you simply did not notice that you recieved a few runes. Either way, I have personally recieved items after a long delay mid-trip as have other people so time is not likely at all relevant. P.S.
