its fairly good, but not the best barrows. and the hammers arent really any good, just the armou.

Back by popular demand!

And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

Strictly speaking, only torag's platelegs is of any significance, as it is the only piece of torags that gives the set that little extra defence. Thus if you already have guthan's or dharok's armor, then only the plate legs is woth getting. The set effect isnt great, nor is the weapon, and the plate and helm as the same stats as the other 2...

So which is the best Barrows set to get - and why?

>.< No need to ask that question, there really isn't any answer too it...

Torag is good in Castle Wars (people can't use set effects, so all the other sets with good effects are beaten there) but anywhere else other sets will be better. If you've got Dharok's already though you don't have to bother getting Torag, as there defense difference isn't too great.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

it really depends on what you are using the set for (show off? Training? Dueling?)

Karil's set is ok, though not really worth the money for the set. The x Bow is good, albeit the ammo is expensive, and you cant pick them up

Ahrim's set is one of the best (if not the best), mage armor set. The weapon is officially the most useless barrow piece.

Torags set has already been described above

Guthan's set is the most expensive, and it has a reason. It covers the cost of your food when training, because it has the leeching effect. which means if you are training melee, the only time when you need to bank is when you are full on loot.

Dharok's set is for training/dueling, due to its high damage, though I personally believe that the set is too risky either way as it is the slowest weapon of all the barrows.

Verac's is used for its prayer bonus, and for its armor ignoring effect, very powerful in dueling. (second most expensive, though its about 1/2 of that of guthan)
